Hiya happyloman,im just looking at the back of my Steradent just now and it says.:The Formula is Safe for Metal Parts? its Steradent Active Fresh. never ask a woman to do a mans job! lol Ive just looked again at the "steradent" my mum bought and guess what? Its not actually Steradent, but Morrisons own "Dental Cleaning Tablets"!!!, it does specifically say avoid contact with metal surfaces too, so maybe its to do with the pill sitting on a metal table or something. But yes, sorry mate its not flipping Steradent to begin with lol! Cheers Spicy, for me its nothing to do with shinyness, it was just to clean everything with to see if it improved the consistancy etc. Me to happyloman, its more to do with keeping everything clean

Steradent tablets take the enamel off of the bases of the protank mini's but don't harm them. Just make them stainless steel lol

happyloman Hi, I use iClear 30 and the 30s, I have an MVP2 and a VTR. The MVP2 is a complete rechargeable Battery Pack, with Variable Wattage and Voltage, the VTR is a Variable Voltage and Wattage device BUT IT NEEDS ITS OWN Batteries. You need to buy these seperately, plus a charger for them. I have run my MVP2 at 11 Watts, but only as an experiment when I began Vaping with it and have varied between 5w and 9w since, 11w seems high. Is there a reason you are wanting such high Wattage?? I would think you MAY be Burning your Juice?

11w would burn most juices I think. I rarely go above 8w and that gives me a great vape with Protanks fitted with microcoils and cotton wool wicks. Might be worth either replacing your atty head of at least giving it a good clean. Which leads me on to . . . I now use warm water and a dry burn to clean up my coils between rewicks; I did try Tesco cheapie denture cleaning tablets, but didn't really notice any appreciable difference, so have given them up now as I am a lazy bugger and like to keep things simple!

Hi thanks for all the help im getting, Ive had a few moments where I nearly bought the smokes again. I remember many a time having a bad cold with a sore throat and thinking how little I was smoking, then telling myself I would pack it in, then never did. I think my health scare is a bit like that, Im not aware of the pain too often from the op and when out and about seeing the yellow light appear on the button makes me start to get frustrated with the whole thing, especially when Im getting such a weak draw without resorting to Menthyol flavour with an "extra throat hit". I do appreciate the advice Im getting, but Im not sure where the 11w is coming from. Ive never said that I smoked at that high a setting. I looked at the chart listed on this site and because my Clearomizers are 2.1ohms I thought it was best to set my Innokin to 9.5w and 4.5v, Ive never put it to max, just because I never do like to set things at their max, if I can avoid it. I did try it at lower settings and often didnt really feel any draw happening and at higher ones I eventually could taste a burnt flavour. My disappointment with these Innokins is I rarely get more than 3 to 4 hours before the light goes to yellow and Im certain at the yellow level in the battery, the draws become less satisfying, Ive found sometimes blowing down the filter as its starting to crackle causes a slight pop and then I can get a good draw, but I would say its about 1 in four that are like this and so I tend to vape for a good 3 to 4 minutes solid, before I put it down for about 30minutes. There are times when I vape for longer maybe even a solid half hour and literally put it down when the battery part and the Clearomizer tank are hot/warm. Ive bought two of these Innokin batteries now from different dealers and both had scratch codes to verify they were genuine, so Im "happy" they are and they are at best about 1 month old, so I think the problem to getting a consistent hit must be something else, maybe to do with the Clearomizer. At the moment I change the dual coil every two weeks and clean the whole thing once a week, by just rinsing under the tap and then drying off over night in the airing cubboard. These VTR/MTRs are up in the £50 to £70 range, which Im nervous about shelling out as the savings from not smoking havent kicked in yet. Im hoping I can find a better type of Clearomizer than the 30s that I use. Just not sure what will fit and what wont, people keep referring to a standard 510 size, but Ive read the 30B and 30s are different and the v3 wont fit a 30B, which is a standard 510 size, but Ive also read that the v3 IS a 510 !?! The whole thing has made my head hurt too much lol. So tomorrow morning Im just going to take a punt and get a Kanger ProTank, but i know they dont have the movable filters that the 30s has, which for some reason has really helped me get into the vaping. Again thanks for all the help. All the best

Vaping is NOT cheaper than Smoking, it is different though. If you Smoked 20 a day, or 1/2 oz of Tobacco just work out how much you would spend on Smoking!! Batteries DO wear out and don't last as long as they did when they were new, Tanks need to be cleaned and Heads DO wear out. Vaping isn't Smoking, it probably won't be cheaper either, BUT it is NOT as harmful as Smoking!!! You do need to have made the decision to stop Smoking, Vaping CAN'T make it for you

The 510 is the little screw thing at the bottom of the iclear30s and the hole it screws into The ego fitting is the threads on the outside the hole at the bottom
Don't worry about things not fitting on a vv3 everything does - that is not to say that everything will always fire first time without a bit of 'tinkering'. The fitting on the vv3 is what is known as a 510/ego. All batteries and mods come with a 510 fitting but only some come with an ego fitting. Those that don't come with an ego fitting sometimes come with an adapter or you can buy an adapter for about £2.50 so any clearomiser will fit on any battery/mod.
Another tip is that the iclear30 and 30s work against gravity so they need to be turned upside down from time to time and 'swooshed' around to ensure that the wicks are as wet as possible.
3-4 hours is about right for a vv3 - they were designed for portability not long battery life

I dont need to mate its in my signature Thankyou Spice, that little bit about the 510 and especially ego threads is wht you might call a break through for me lol I thought it was just a design thingy! That has made a massive difference to everything Ive been looking at as I thought "ego" was another brand like Innokin or Kanger, doh! The booklet that comes with the v3 is pretty hopeless for anything other than how to press any of the buttons! lol Cheers mate

With the itaste or any vv/vw device you choose to use either watts or volts. The last set will be the one used. I have the itaste vv/vw and use watts with a protank mini and they last about 7 - 8 hours but I'm usually on a low setting between 6 - 7 watts with a 60/40 juice. I didn't like the iclear 30s on the itaste they didn't give anymore vapour and were heavy in comparison. I never have them out of my hand and use about 2 tanks a day with no bother. I have several protank minis with different flavours on the go all the time. For cleaning I wash them swap the coil for a dry one then dry the base and carry on takes minutes. I then have a container for my dirty coils which I pop in the ultrasonic cleaner when I have a few. The coils are so cheap that having quite a few is cost effective and they last for a long time I never dryburn as I think that tends to shorten the life of the coil but I suppose it depends on the type of juice you use mine are all fruit and mint variations. Hope you are recovering well from your op and get sorted soon
