So at the moment I have purchased an Elegance Ecig which was terrible and put me off vaping altogether. Then I tried again with the innokin vv v3 I nearly gave up again but by chance tried a 30s (tanker?) and its been a real godsend. I mean that sincerely as Ive just had a tumour removed and I know it would all of been too much if I had had to pack in the fags and rely on patches during my hospital stay. So thankyou Innokin and all those who helped on here too Im curious about trying something else but having read the chart sticky on another thread here Im of the conclusion that variables dont really matter as from following the chart my settings for the 30s 2.1 ohms are best set to 4.4v/9.5w. In that case maybe I should only look for something that gives me a better battery life, the Innokins give me 2 to 3 hours at best. Ive noticed that there are different Innokins, the VTR and the Coolfire, but Im not understanding what the differences will be. I think I would prefer to stick to these 30s tankers so am I write in thinking the VTR will only really give me a better battery life and the fact it can go higher in watts is irrelevant, if Im using the 30s and following the chart? Or am I missing the point somewhere, lol ? Ive also taken to using the dual cartomisers for two weeks and then just replacing them, but Im also sure Ive read some people mention putting them and the rest of tank into Steradent over night to clean them? I googed around and found some people insisting that Steradent was a really bad idea. Im not certain of what I like about the 30s i think its as much the big container as it is the filter tip can be moved around, whereas the 16s ones were not movable and something about their slimness either didnt feel right or gave of a weaker vape. Im finding I use the lowest nicotine possible (6mg) and look for menthol flavours with an extra throat hit too. Not sure if Im making sense here and I do apologise if Im not, but basically these Innokins arent perfect and Im looking for something better. By better I think more than anything Im looking for a consistant "draw" from my ecig as sometimes it feels like I just sucking on fresh air and there is the battery life problems too. Any help would be much appreciated, thankyou

Firstly I wouldn't pay much attention to charts. If you have variable voltage or variable wattage just start low and gradually turn up the voltage or power until you get the vape you like best. If it starts to taste burnt just turn it down a bit. Your iclear 30 should fit pretty much any device. As for cleaning them I tend to just wash them in warm soapy water then rinse well and leave them to dry. The choice between the VTR and the Coolfire really comes down to which one you think looks better. Both will work well with your tank and give you a great vape. I would suggest having a look at www.myepack.co.uk for them. Great prices and fast delivery (no I am not affiliated with them)

Cheers mate I just bought the Steradent today and googled for how to use it properly, it was then I found peeps saying dont use it, but they didnt specify what ecigs they were talking about. Is that the only real difference about the MVP, the battery lifes? As I said the chart suggest a set v and w for 2.1ohms and these 30s are 2.1 and the only thing Im reasonably certain about liking lol.

A major difference between the VTR and the cool fire is battery life. The VTR is an 18650 mod anywhere upto around 3400 mah which is probably going to easily give you double the battery life of a cool fire which is an 18350 mod around 800 mah on average.

No,no,i forgot to add it has VV and VW and the battery is built in so you don't have to bother buying batterys or a charger. You should check them out.around £36 from my e-pack.

The VV 3 can be vaped whist it is charging - assuming your lead is long enough.
The Coolfire 1 and 2 both require 18350 batteries which won't last much longer between charges than the VV. The iclear30s works best at above 10 watts so the cooolfire 1 is not powerful enough - it is set at 8.5 watts
The VTR is good as it was specifically designed for the iclear30s but it is rather heavy and cumbersome. The MVP2 works the same way as the iclear VV3 but the battery lasts for days.
Upgrading from the vv3 won't improve the vape but will give you more battery life. Whatever the charts say the iclear30s doesn't get hot enough to give a decent vape under 10 watts

Hope you are recovering well from your op happylomanam I write in thinking the VTR will only really give me a better battery life and the fact it can go higher in watts is irrelevant Basically, yes. You might want more watts some time in the future, but I'd think that most people are happy at 11 watts or less. Ive also taken to using the dual cartomisers for two weeks and then just replacing them, but Im also sure Ive read some people mention putting them and the rest of tank into Steradent over night to clean them? I googed around and found some people insisting that Steradent was a really bad idea. I used Steradent for a while and it didn't kill me, but I didn't think it did much good either. These days I just rinse with hot water. It helps if you do it often.Im looking for a consistant "draw" from my ecig as sometimes it feels like I just sucking on fresh air I don't know why that is. I don't have a 30s or vv v3 but as far as I know they are reliable enough. You could try priming it - press the button for a moment before you actually draw on it.

Just to clarify what are we all talking about when using the word Vape. Is it the amount of smoke or the amount of inhaling needed to get a draw or something to do with getting a perfect taste?

A combination of flavour, throat hit, vapour, taste and satisfaction. Most of this is dictated by the make up of the eliquid but a good variable voltage/wattage battery and good clearomiser setup will give a good juice a 'better vape'. No amount of shiny hardware will transform a nasty juice into a nice one and can in some cases make it worse!

Something don't sound right here , the innokin vv is a good little device , 2 / 3 hrs are you chain vaping it at 11w , when did you last change the atomiser in the iclear 30 , it just sounds like the coil is gunked up and you have got the watts turned up full to try and compensate , I could be wrong but that is how I am seeing it .

Some of the chemicals in steradent could tarnish metal so if you want to keep things shiny just use plain old bicarb!

Its not actually Steradent, but Morrisons own "Dental Cleaning Tablets"!!!, it does specifically say avoid contact with metal surfaces too, so maybe its to do with the pill sitting on a metal table or something. But yes, sorry mate its not flipping Steradent to begin with lol! Cheers Spicy, for me its nothing to do with shinyness, it was just to clean everything with to see if it improved the consistancy etc.
