Right, no, misunderstood again. Once the coil is out, thats it. No more to undo. --> 30s Right, so, this means that the spare tubes for the iclear 30 cannot be used for the iclear 30s because those tubes do not come with the metal bit on the bottom, so they've got that wrong on their website. Good job I didn't go ahead and order any!! Someone needs to tell those guys they've got it wrong otherwise they will have some disgruntled customers. Brings me back to my original question: anyone know where we can get spare tubes for the iclear 30s (with the metal bit stuck on the bottom)? |

Might just be stuck toots as I say the bottom on my other is stuck but I have had it off before. Just been on fasttech and theres a picture of a 30s in pieces. |

I just took both my i30 and i30s tanks apart - and yes they do unscrew but the 30s seemed to be screwed on tighter. Both tanks appear to be identical - in fact I may have now muddled em up so me 30s tank is now on 30  I don't think you would be able to get glass tanks as the threads are too fine to be cut into glass. As for Innokin saying that the 30s is more resistant to tank crackers - is the from the tech dept or marketing? hmmm! OK ignore all of this - me tinternet went down for a bit so I missed the last 4 or 5 posts why posting |

Yeah, just taken a look at that and if you look again you will see that there is no picture of the tube without the bottom piece, they show the tube ONLY with the bottom piece still attached. This is the one I've been looking at: www.fasttech.com/p/1536002I've got 3 more of these on order from fasttech, will find out when they arrive if the tube can be unscrewed from the metal casing. |

OMG, all the coloured tubes are only displayed with the metal casing attached to the tube, it's just the translucent one that is displayed without the metal casing. Now that's got me wondering if it's all the coloured ones don't come apart. I've got the pink one
