Another about glass tanks I'm afraid:
Am I able to replace the plastic tank of the IClear 30 with a glass one? Is there anywhere which sells the right dimension tank?
I LOVE JJ's cinnamon juice, but can only currently use it in a Protank mini I have.
Thanks all, Tony.

According to innokin you should be able to use any juice in the iclear 30s even though it isn't glass. Apparently they've used a strengthened type of plastic, but only in the iclear 30s not the iclear 30.
I put some hot cinnamon candy in my iclear 30s and it didn't affect it at all.

I use Druide in an iClear 30s, and although it has made the Tank "Milky" no cracks. I too would like to find a Pyrex or glass tube for the iClear 30s tonyp, as they are my all day Tank!!

Thanks guys. I'd read that the 30s was supposed to be tougher...but I have a couple of 30 (plural, but I didn't want to confuse by adding the 's') that I'd like to use. I may bite the bullet and try now you have pointed out replacement plastic tubes can be bought.
Thanks.

Just out of interest does anyone do replacement tubes for the iclear 30s?
I was looking at some sites today for spare tubes (just in case) and couldn't find any, only ones for the iclear 30.

Well that is interesting, however if the 30s tank is supposed to be able to take any juice without cracking then why don't they say that about the 30 tank. Also I thought the 30s tank tube came with the silver metal casing at the bottom coz when I tried taking it apart to wash it I couldn't get that bottom bit off. So, it is supposed to come off then??? Didn't want to tug or twist it too much in case it wasn't supposed to come off Next time I wash it out though I'll give it a try. I will also buy one of those tank tubes, put some hot cinnamon candy in and see if it starts to crack or leak.

toots. Push from the top of the tank, down on the coil and it slides out the bottom. Spent a good 10 mins twisting the thing about myself! Was looking for a glass tank as well. didn't know the i30's were tougher? Gonna try some Joosejuice banana and hope for the best.

I don't get that, if you push down on the coil only the coil slides out, the metal bottom piece stays put on the bottom of the plastic tube, it doesn't come off. I've tried it again and there is no way I can get that metal piece at the bottom to come away from the plastic tube

Bottom screws off the 30s can be quite tight though

Bottom screws off the 30s can be quite tight though Are you referring to the 30 or the 30s? I have tried unscrewing till I'm blue in the face there is no way mine will unscrew

Right, no, misunderstood again. Once the coil is out, thats it. No more to undo. --> 30s
