Steve (VapeStorm) - sorry, it's got to be me I've just emptied out my translucent one and tried to get the bottom off and can't do it. Looks like I probably don't have the strength in my hands to unscrew these things

Have you got any WD40 or try unscrewing it with a rubber glove on so you get a better grip toots?

Perpetua I'll try the rubber gloves method suggested when I've got 3 more that I've ordered from fasttech. Wouldn't want to bust one leaving myself with only 1 tank

They're probably on so tight so that they don't leak, but Christ almighty, they shouldn't make them that difficult to get off

After an hour, 1 HOUR!!!, of twisting and yanking and AAARRGHHHH!!!! I have managed to unscrew the damn thing. Steve (VapeStorm) obviously has mad man strength and/or I am a mahoosive weedy weakling. Hurumpff.

Succcccesssssss at last. I soaked my tank in hot water for a while, just tried getting the metal casing off and after less than a minute it came apart - hooray

Funny thing is I was telling my other half about you slimbopp, how it took you an hour of twisting and yanking to get the metal casing off and how ridiculous it was whilst I was twisting mine and then mine suddenly became loose and I had the two parts separated. He looked at me as though I'd lost my marbles, coz he saw it took less than a minute for me to do mine
