So I got the UD AGI V2 off a fellow member on here (nirk) and have been messing with it tonight, just built it up in fact and now I understand why people bother. OMG! It tastes sooooooo good! So here it is In bits Picked up a little blowtorch for £9.99 from dunelm mill today And of course used it for this Made a coil, tested the ohms which are sitting at 1.5, filled with juice and stuck it all togetherr How cool is that?! I'm running an 18350 just now but often use the 18650, I like the size with the 350 though. Anyway after putting it all together I checked the ohms again which had gone down to 1.1, the top of the wick was hitting the centre post, oops! Sorted now though and sitting back at the 1.5ohms and vaping like a charm. I'm really impressed with the difference after using standard things like the aspire bdc, it works fine but this thing is just so different, super smooth and full of flavour. I might be going on a bit but it is my first time so now I've popped my rebuild, mesh wick and first coil cherry ha ha. Thanks to all the cool and helpful people on here and thank goodness for youtube. Next one will maybe be the silica wick as showwn by maccafan allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/14719/aga-silica-wick?page=1&scrollTo=288251Also I seen a thing on youtube about using a piece of syringe needle instead of this spring for the centre post for the power, it runs up the centre between the bottom and top basically, anyway people noticed a difference in ohms and vape quality. In this kit I see the springs are now gold plated and I think that's to address that issue. Rigtht enough rambling, thank everyone and vape on!

Lol re excess vape but a great post. I'm in a similar position to you, bought a rebuilable tank, gob smacked at the vapor quality and taste.
All my protanks and iclears are now washed and packed away for emergencies.

Just need to figure out the stinging nostril thing lol. I've emailed innokin too to ask what the minimum ohm coil I can use is, I've read various figures but mine fires at 1.1ohms, I fancy a lower ohm coil.

Hot spots, shorts, you name it but I just persevered, checked out more vids etc and eventually ended up with something that functions lol. I was at it for about 2-3 hours though lol. Learning loads just now and thoroughly enjoying myself.
Can't wait to get a pile of wire now to try other methods

What I've found with hotspots is you don't really want to move the coils too much because that changes the oxidised part of the mesh. What I do is try and get them spaced before I fire it then if there is a hotspot (pretty much always is one) just press the hot coil against the wick and with a bit of fiddling it works it's way out.

Well an update, to anyone new and thinking of trying the rebuild direction I say do it, get the thing and jut go for it, it is soooo worth it. I can't get this nice a vape from anything else so far. It's just smooth and full of flavour. Highly recommend it to anyone.
