Great video Steve, one point though. I wouldn't recommend adjusting the bottom switch contact pin, you should tighten this down hard with a pair of pliers, just a nip so it's tight. If you don't then over tie it's likely to loosen off, fall out and short the bottom of your battery. Cheers mate, only had this 2 days so still getting to grips with It, and its my first mech

Yep. Tighten the pin in the bottom switch, then put your atty on and adjust the top pin so it makes contact. Then all you need to do is either tighten or loose off the bottom switch to make it fir flush and stop battery rattle.

No worries, there great mods. I ignored the advice myself when I got mine as I got mixed brass and ss units and I wanted the brass kick ring fitted cos it looked great. Only way to achieve this was to loosen the bottom contact and it was fine for some time. Then I picked it up and the tube was red hot. Fortunayely I caught it pretty quick and unscrewed the mod in half. That bottom contact was rattling around in side, lesson learnt. You can buy longer top and bottom contacts, I bought the longer top contacts and this let me fit the kick ring and a kick in 18500 mode whilst keeping the bottom contact screwed tight

The bottom switch can be a bit crunchy at times too, you can get magnets to replace the spring for a couple of pounds from Vapegeek although they can't confirm if theirs are as strong as the oem version or not.
