Hi there had a mvp v2 with a iclear30 tank on for about 2 weeks . All was working fine , but now all of a sudden about every 5th or 6th vape , as I inhale i get a horrible burn taste in my throat that's really harsh.
Any idea what is causing this or what i could do to try to fix it. I have let the tank run low a couple of times , could this of ruined the wicks or something?

Have you tried changing the coil?maybe a slightly singed wick?

Sorry for being stupid but is the coil the middle thing with the wicks on , had 2 spares with it ill try that . What causes a burnt wick mate , is it running it with very little juice in ?

Maybe a dry hit, if you vape an atty such as the iclear 30 very quickly the wicks wont suck up your juice fast enough

The burnt taste (dry hit) is caused by the coil not having enough e-liquid when you fire it up. Yes letting the tank get to low will cause that or running the device with too higher voltage/ wattage for the tank. As the problem is only appearing after 5 or 6 vapes then I would say that it is a wicking problem. Take the coil out (yes its the bit with the tentacles) and give it a good wash under a running tap - then leave it to dry somewhere warmish. In the meantime you can put new coil in and carry on vaping, and the old one when dry can be put back in the spares box Over a period of time the coils and wicks get "gunked" up with juice (varies with what juice you use) and so don't perform as well as new but if you clean em fairly regular they will last a reasonable length of time.

You need to swoosh your eliquid around every few vapes to keep the coils wet and supplied with eliquid, to avoid that happening baggieboy999.

Once you burn the wick baggieboy999 it's very difficult if not impossible to get rid of the taste , ( I've tried, lol) . I find the only option is to change the coil, or re-wick.
