smithyjules It's hard to quantify TBH, as vaping is different, you can just pick up an e-cig and take a puff then put it down or sit there chugging away for ages!

Most 20 a day ex smokers get through about 2 - 3ml of liquid a day so I reckon you'll be looking at 1 - 2ml a day probably more when you first start as it will be a novelty

I would also "go" with 18mg and then cut down to 12mg once you've got over the first few fences without coming of the horse.

I used 24mg on some dodgy cig-a-like-looking-rip-off-ecigs.

Then 18mg on the now-famous "Riva deluxe kit" from the lovely people at Vape Escape.

Now on 12mg.... starting the descent to zero hopefully.

Yes, I'd imagine 1-2ml per day will be the number.

Although there is no wrong or right, it's no coincidence that us ex-smokers find the same times for our 5 minutes of "pleasure" as we always did.

I smoked 15 and vape 1.5ml-2.0ml a day.

Quite one the look of the starter kits suggested...hubby has been looking at skycig which is cartridge based.

Any reviews for this cartridge style of e cig please?

djs is right, skycigs are over priced & under perform.

let me put it this way.

2ml of liquid a day. (that's what I use). (14ml a week)

Refillable ecig = £5 a week
Skycig = £20 - ish a week
E-Lites = £56 a week.

smithyjules Hiya, don't stress about Vaping what, where and how just yet, but do take some time to look over advice other people have had when they started Vaping. Poor quality kit will not give you a decent Vaping experience but will still cost Money. I think a Basic, decent starter kit is under £30, juice depends on what you find that you like, I HATE Menthol, other people Vape nothing but! Don't buy too much of 1 style/flavour of juice and do try to have a couple of different Flavours available. Do get more than 1 Battery and find some time (I know this is the hardest bit) away from the Kids (even for 10 minutes!!)
