Aaaaarrrgh - fasttech

I am really really p****d off now with fasttech - placed order whilst they were on holiday 29 Jan, they come back from hols and one item out of 10 displayed as 'restocking' then the following scenario:

Contacted support for date of restocking item
Support replied and couldn't give me a date
Contacted support to split order
Next day stated ETA 15 Feb
Contacted support not to split order due to ETA date
15 Feb came and went + ETA date disappeared
Contacted support to split order
Reply from support item coming in stock in a couple of days - so waited
New ETA date 21 Feb displayed - thought ok persevere
This morning ETA date still displayed as 21 Feb
Now ETA date changed AGAIN to 26 Feb

Arrrrggggghhhhhhh - 

Just contacted support again and told them this is ridiculous and to send the rest of the order out to me. Not prepared to wait any longer for that one item. 3 times ETA changed

toots fully understand your frustration and annoyance with FT and they deserve a

I have a few orders since they have returned from their hols go from one date to restocking. Have waited a few days and nothing changed so cancelled them.

There was a post on the forum regarding the splitting of orders, (which is normally automatically done in 24 hours if one item is the only item not ready to ship), stating "Dear valued customers,

We apologize for the inconvenience due to restocking and not splitting orders automatically recently as advertised in FAQ entry page What does restocking means.

"When all other items in your orders are ready, FastTech automatically moves restocking items into a separate shipment for you (i.e. split shipment), so that you can quickly receive your order. The automatic split shipment process takes place every night Hong Kong Time, on business days."

Due to a processing backlog caused by an unexpected warehouse downtime last week, FastTech is temporarily pausing automatic partial shipments. This feature will resume before next Wednesday (2/26/2014).

If you would like your orders split, please open a ticket and it will be arranged.

Again, everything will resume normal status before 2/26/2014.

We apologize for this and thank you for your understanding."

Whenever the Chinese have a holiday it usually takes about 4 weeks before they are back to normal

Doesn`t help, but it`s a case of being patient, which I am not

oh toots and this to you - hope they get it sorted soon - I have 2 orders on the go - one says shipped - the other one - well let's be patient - only ordered what I don't need immediately

I just tend to order and forget, had this with another company, order placed 5 days before holiday, only shipped this week, always find with china it's a case of order and turn off the clock.

Ah the joys of Slow Tech, how many holidays do they have?
I ordered 2 rainbow ego twist 1300mah (believe it when I see them) 29th Jan during their holiday, got pretty picture of my package 8th Feb,
got notification from Singapore post ( the buggers that returned an earlier order) 12 Feb, package received, 15th Feb on route to GB now I'm Postie stalking.
The stuff arrives when it arrives, FT 30 days, VB a bit less, UK next day, you pays your money and takes your chance.

Continuing the FT saga:

Support replied today and split the order

Split order now states the restocking item I was waiting for with new ETA 26 Feb is now 'ready for shipment' - arrrrrgh

Now I've had to place another small order to make 2nd shipment up to $15 so I get a tracking number
Sent another ticket off requesting to combine new order with 2nd shipment

They'll probably add it to the 1st shipment order

I give up

Can't order and forget it, need the tracking number to check on parcel arrival date this end to save a 2 hour round trip up the mountain to post office if I miss the postie!!!

I placed an order that was over $15 to then cancel a item due to restocking so my order came to around $8 and got a tracking number,ordered 7th February,shipped yesterday

I know there is a language barrier but Fasttech need to learn the difference between "new arrivals" and "coming soon".
Everyday they put up new arrivals and they haven't arrived anywhere they are all due soon - hence the 5 or 10 days to ship.
I wanted to order 2 kayfun clones and a nemesis but wasn't prepared to pay now and wait for them to buy in stock.
I went to another seller and am gobsmacked, my parcel is at Heathrow 7 days after ordering. Shipped free via HK post.
Wonder if customs and Royal Mail will be as quick.
Sorry, I know this doesn't help you but it is worth noting that there are other vendors out there.
