The last straw....

I've been struggling with vaping for the last month or so. Juice wise. It all just taste of nothing or is too harsh on my throat. I can't afford to waste more cash I don't have on more juices I don't like. So am reluctant to spend out. Yes there's some juices I know I like, but I'm bored stiff of vaping the same thing day in day out tbh.

I've been finding a lot of juices giving me stomach pains too. I've no idea why but a certain juice I'll vape and half an hour later have terrible stomach pains. Anything cherry or mint etc.

I have some juice on order from LT but currently have nothing at all in besides snake oil. Which makes me cough lol. It's like a comedy of errors. So today I picked up some super strong menthol (I know it might give me stomach cramps but all else has failed) in an attempt to kick start the taste buds.

Grabbed an aspire. Put it on my anyvape CV1. Realised I hadn't actually filled it. So tried to unscrew it and instead the entire head came off and now it's broke.



I think it's just the last straw TBH. My depression has been terrible the past few months and I just don't have the energy or cash to trawl the net wasting money on juices that end up being horrible and replacing broken mods.

So I think it's time I just gave up. I do enjoy vaping, or rather, I did. Now I just think smoking will be much less hassle. No worries about taste, they all taste rank. And they don't cost £30-£40 to replace if they brake.

Probably all seems a bit dramatic to some but hey ho. It's how I feel.

Jerri - hang in there with vaping - you have been doing it for quite a while now -and remember - all cigarettes taste more less the same - remember the coughing and the stench - you can do it - if you buy cigs they end up in a pile of ash
you could try to swap the juices you don't like here on the forum

aww don't panic, just remember it will ALWAYS be a better option from smoking. I promise you, there may be glitches at the start?
Trying to think of advice to offer? firstly you don't vape like you smoke. Its not hard pulls like on a filter, its gentle primed sucks, and the style is different but in a very short time you just adapt.

£2k and nearly 5000 cigs avoided! Whats another £20-30 on another new battery?

Even go back to basics, get the juice you know you like and doesnt cause any problems for abit.

Jerri... so sorry to hear of your problems... but please don't go back to the fags... you KNOW that's the way to hell!

I know we are all different in our tastes, but the only juice I've used in over 12 months is Shire Malt, a warm and relaxing vape that I can use all day & night. It may not be for you, but at least try it before you relapse. You know you'll kick yourself if you do.

Jerri don't go back on the smokes. You say "No worries about taste, they all taste rank. And they don't cost £30-£40 to replace if they brake". That's only about 4:5 days smoking.

We all have bad days, persevere you have come a long way. I only wish I can help you out with stuff but life is tough for me.
Tomorrow is a new day and all that and as Munkymunky says we scousers go the distance

I don't have a shortage of gear lol. I actually just got my stuff the way I wanted (totally OCD mind). Two silver mods (SID and an SVD) and two black mods (SID and CV1), I have about twenty vivi novas in black and silver and plenty of heads. Plus spare stuff to recoil them.

I have a spinner and 4 aspires too. Gear isn't the problem.

The OCD will bug the crap out of me until I replace the CV1 with another black mod.

Juice? I usually vape 50/50 6mg. My adv for a while has been monkey jizz and yeah it's lovely but I'm bored of it.

I've been vaping since October 2012 and I know you have crap vape days and great vape days when the juice is perfect and it just works etc. But for a while now it's been crap vape day after crap vape day and I honestly just don't have the energy. Would be so much simpler to just buy smokes.

TBH. I barely smoked 5 a day. I have spent VASTLY more on vaping than I ever did on smoking.

aw, I dunno...i'm as OCD as they come! swear i'd leave Super-Shiny standing! I can tell the difference at 20 paces between different shades of stainless steel! (i've just stopped myself exclaiming in horror at members combos) because THEY CLASH!

Looking at what you like, can I suggest trying out absinthe? only I started on desserts, moved to puddings, onto custard and now its all about 'aniseed; life cant go on without a hearty blast of anise for me now

you could also try to change the 50/50 - try different percentages - maybe that solves your stomach problems
sometimes in the evening I can't taste my beloved banana that much - so I go for a strong lemon menthol option - how about trying soft mint or spear mint instead of menthol if you think you are allergic to menthol

you have so many nice gadgets - am sure you will put them to good use
