You can mix menthol with pretty much anything. Its a great mixer.
Just go half and half with another juice to test flavour. Vanilla + menthol is one of my faves.
Also strength if you mix say 18mg with 12mg half and half the nicotine will be approx 16mg.
Hope that helps.

The VA blend is terrible...it tastes of ash. The father in law described it as re-lighting a but end of a rolly. Not tried the others but I might try another one as DJ recommends them...they cant ALL be like that! DJ which ones do you use?

The itaste 3.0 sounds great and always gets really good feedback on here. For juice its a case of trying what you like...bit of trial and error ive found. I have had quite alot from www.joosejuice.co.uk and the menthol is great (strong!) they also 2 to tobacco flavours which ive tried and like, although I mix them with the menthol. The Vanilla is pretty good too as a mixer with the menthol and tobacco too. Good luck.

Im going to 2nd the Itaste VV V3.0 starter kit - myepack.co.uk/kits/itaste-vv-v3-o.htmlThis gives you a great and well reviewed and thought of VV battery, 5 x iClear16 dual coil clearomisers which will last you ages and a USB charger. All you would need after this is liquid and a USB plug charger so you can charge from a socket (you can use any.....you might have one? We use our Ipad one). If you want a 2nd battery to use while that one charges you could get myepack.co.uk/batteries/vision-spinner-1300-mah.html which has a longer battery life (1300mah compared with the 800mah on the Itaste). This will work on the USB charger you get with the starter pack. If I had to start again this is what I would choose....simple start..dont confuse yourself with the massive range of Clearomisers available yet. Good luck.

my father in law is having same problem. He smokes ALOT of rollies and I got him some 24mg juice but it gives him really bad headaches and he only has a few puffs...
Ive got him some 12mg coming so hopefully that will help!?
Maybe its to do with smoking & vaping...too much nicotine? Or the way the body absorbs the nicotine....whatever it is im hoping I can find the right balance for him to get him to cut down / quit the cigs.

Jerri, look at your signature...stare at your signature!
£2k and nearly 5000 cigs avoided! Whats another £20-30 on another new battery?
Even go back to basics, get the juice you know you like and doesnt cause any problems for abit.
Good luck and stay strong.

Ok im looking into getting some "premium" liquid to use on weekends/birthdays etc I have had most of my juice from joocejuice which to be fair I enjoy, as an ex menthol smoker I find their menthol strong but like it mixed with about 1/3rd vanilla to give it abit of a sweet taste and calm the menthol down a little. Ive just ordered some Black gold and caramel tobacco flavour but not tried them yet. From reading the forums and some reviews ive come to the conclusion I want to get some "premium" and more expensive liquid to have..probably as abit of a luxury at the weekends or something as I can get 60ml for under £7 from JJ and it seems its going to be about £12-£13 for 30ml of the premium stuff...is it worth it? Ive read that - www.paradisevapeuk.co.uk/ have some good stuff...recommendations? www.vapeescape.co.uk/Grizwalds-Gourmet-Liquids/Gourmet-Tobaccos/ Grizwalds ive heard good things about www.houseofliquid.com/category-s/1830.htm especially the El Toro liquid seems pretty much the bees knees from what ive read..the do other apart from El Toro too so some recommendations from this supplier would be useful. So basically is it worth it..will I be like WOW...are there any others that ive missed off the "premium" list. I understand there are probably a million threads and everyone has their favourites but im looking to get some liquid that will be like... YOINK! Thanks

Its hard when you 1st start, im just over 1 month in and I cant count amount of times I had trouble with spilling liquid, over filling the tanks etc. When you fill the tank dont over fill it (had it got a level to fill too?), also dont run it too low or it will taste burnt. When putting in the eliquid make sure you tilt the tank and be careful not to get any liquid down the middle "hole". Release the button between inhaling as this will overheat the coil and also run your battery down fast. You shouldnt have to suck too hard to inhale, you should have to do it less than you would a cig. The best way is to take a longer slower draw than you would a cig..4-5 seconds is plenty. Keep at it and you will soon learn how to vape and what suits you best. Have you got a variable volt battery? If so try to find the best level so you get a good hit but not too high it tastes burnt. The best/cheapest juice supplier ive found so far is www.joosejuice.co.uk/ and for tobacco flavour ive heard the black gold is excellent (ive got some upstairs but not tried it yet...trying to leave it the recommended week to "steep"...but you CAN use the juice straight away). Good luck and remember every cig you dont smoke is helping!

I vape pretty much like I smoked with the way I inhale, although you have to take a longer slower "drag" but that I suppose on what your vaping on!
If you really want to quit the cigs....bin them...and the lighters/ashtrays. We found we had 9 lighters which was odd as I could only ever find 1 when I was looking for a light!
Get into vaping...ive quit for now 1 month and look forward to it as much if not more than when I wanted a cig!
Also you can have sneaky vapes when the kids are watching TV/playing and not smell or feel guilty!
The only downside ive seen so far is I vape far more than I smoked!

Having 2 batteries is vital if your trying to quit. Also make sure you have a USB to mains plug...I just use the one that came with the Ipad...I think any will do as long as you use the correct charger to your battery.

Hi guys, Nice to have a UK based forum. Ive posted a few times on www.e-cigarette-forum.com/ and joined here as its UK based. Quit on the 06th Jan this year and amazingly did it straight away with my starter pack (just a 400mah manual x 2 which I use for out and about as they are so small) but upgraded to 900mah VV and then after loads of research and advise got an MPV2 with a Protank2 and the Iclear30 duel coil that it came with....I use that all the time now at home. The other half also quit on same day. Im 37 years old and had smoked for 20 years....still cant believe how amazing vaping is and apart from the odd withdrawal symptom (headaches for a day or 2...not sure if that was withdrawal or more nicotine im having through vaping!...gone now though) have found quitting the cigs...fairly easy! DJSvapour from the e-cigarette forum I believes posts on here although I dont know what he posts as here helped me alot with advice.
