hi all - ok - having read a lot here in the mix forum and due to the comments and posts I am slowly getting ready - so far so good - the mixing calculator is brilliant but ???

how much flavour concentrate would you put in that ???







and question number 2 : if you buy a 30ml bottle of flavoured eliquid with Joosejiuce you get 2 bottles - it this the same with the unflavoured nicotine base ?

In respect of Question 2 Yes 2 for one on 30ml concs. Remember to use dissy code as well (30FC) uppercase.

as for how much concentrate to use, it depends on your taste and what flavour.

Buying the bottles of unflavoured e liquid is an expensive way to do it though. It's much cheaper to buy your nic base, pg and vg then mix your own.
72mg nic base is around £40 for 500ml which if you aim for 18mg will make 2 litres of juice.
PG from ebay is about £8 per litre
VG from Boots is 1.30 for 200ml
Then flavour concentrates are £3 or £4 each wherever. You choose to get them

Most mixes are between 10% and 20% flavouring. Just add the numbers to the mixing calculator and you can't really go wrong

thanks erik514 and charon - so if I have 10ml of base where I just need to add the flavour - then I would add 1 or 2 ml of concentrate ? - would it be too much to add for example 3ml concentrate ?

am totally new to that and your help is greatly appreciated

Clivia if you have 10 ml base at the strength you need yes just add concentrate. For mine I would start at 1ml of concentrate, leave it a few days and then try it. You can always add more if it's too weak

 But for 10% you would add 1ml to 9ml of unflavoured juice, for 20% add 2 ml to 8ml of unflavoured juice

so I have bought now PG of ebay - will go to boots soon for the vg - is any vg good - or does it need to be a particular one - can I buy it also of ebay ?

VG from boots is called Glycerin BP. If you ask for VG they won't know what you are talking about. Nic base can be bought at Vapers emporium just remember to get yourself some syringes, a couple of 1ml and a couple of 10ml will be fine. When you get the syringes cover the numbers with clear Sellotape because they will rub off if you don't making measuring impossible.
Lots of people use Chefs vapour for concentrates. They seem to have all the popular brands and are a good price
