Hi wolfvape, a warm from another newbie here. Hoping that you vaping experience is smoother now, some new clearo's (liquid tanks) take a few puffs to smooth out the the taste after filling and I try to always leave mine for about 15 mins before vaping when I refill. Sounds like you bought a great kit to start. I liked the look of those just wish the battery life was longer for me! As you can see this is an amazing helpful friendly place.

wolfvape - hi, and a warm welcome from me too You certainly sound as though you have made a great start, our mantra (well, one of the many, that is!) is get backups for your backups. When funds allow, get yourself another iClear 16 or try another type of tank. Give us a yell on a new thread, and we'll point you in the best direction for quality, customer service and the best price. Now relax in bed and have a jolly good vape!

Thanks aliscampbell - I haven't had my kit for even 24 hours yet so I haven't had a proper chance to try out the battery. And chykensa - backups for my backups. I'll remember that ;-)

That's a very good guide decoy but expensive so do shop around. Another tip is that you can just buy the battery and charger quite cheaply £19.99 from myepack for example. I've been using this battery with a protank mini since starting, after the initial ego which I changed within a couple of weeks. I use the protank minis so I don't have to worry about tank crackers as I vape mainly fruit types

Blimey wolfvape - just looked at your banner, 1 day, 20 cigs saved £8.80!! - is that how much 20 fags costs these days? I'm so out of touch, it makes the cost of vaping gear and juice even more cost-effective

I know - totally and utterly mad the amount of money it costs to smoke. And I used to wonder why there was always too much month in my pay packet.

So suggesting that someone spends £20 on a starter kit only equates to 2.5 days of smoking at these prices!!! No wonder more and more people are converting. I just fervently pray that someone with more morals than most sees the sense and hijacks the EU TPD Directive in our favour, and saves teh world lives, money and health - or am I just too naive and uncynical!?

Hi wolfvape. Welcome to AAEC I would highly recommend you get back-ups for your back-ups and then to be on the safe side another back-up for the back-ups. This applies to batteries and clearos.

I agree with zeldamum!! I have 4 x mods, 3 eGo-type batteries, 3 x 18650s and 4 x 18350s, and am seriously considering getting another Spinner for out and about! Oh, and I have a mechanical mod (Caravela) on the way from Fasttech so may have to buy new batteries for this. As far as receptacles for juice, I currently have 2 x Mini Protanks, 2 Protank V1s, with another on the way from FT, 2 x iClear 16s, plus a dripper. I have on the way 2 x different Kayfun clones, and am considering something like the Aerotank for longer periods between refilling. And I'm still paranoid about running out of battery charge or juice!

Once I considered a Joyetech 18650 tube mod or a KTS+ as a back up. Now it's a Vamo. Only two weeks ago, a bog-standard 350 or 650 eGo was my "work" back-up, now it's an iTasteVV.

...ah, thats my downfall too djs !! If I upgrade, its right the way through my gear, suddenly my perfectly reasonable backup and spare gear looks an abomination
