Get practicing how to vape without choking, gentle sucks - get a mouthful of vape and gentle/real softly let vapour slip down throat. Should cure the explosive spluttering!!! I still occasionally get a tickly throat but I normally fix that by changing my flavours

Only difference between what he does and what I do is - I take the lot apart and soak all the bits in a cheap denture tablet for an hour or two.  It's recommended  you soak over night, but I find an hour or two is just as good.  Quick grope with some kitchen roll and then on to the dry burn.  Once you get it glowing well, put the lot back together.  Job done.

Thanks newdawn - I think when the time comes for DIY self-clean etc, I'll revisit this post and get it right. Can't wait to see what Nectar points I get and what suggestions I get when I start to buy denture tablets

wait till you decide to DIY mix your own eliquids ... ??? sourcing needles and syringes? (for measuring) I felt seriously gangsta! denture tablets I can cope with, asking my chemist for syringes - no way! (thank heavens for eBay)

Theres a killer thread somewhere here, I absolutely died laughing, we all did - a member asked his wife to pick him up some menthol crystals from Boots The Chemist (it makes a simple menthol concentrate) and his mrs went in and asked for some crystal meths by mistake!!!!!

wolfvape can't tag on the ipad. If you have an ultrasonic cleaner just chuck it in there for 2 cycles then leave to air dry overnight or have a spare coil to put in and just dry the base with kitchen roll

Happily Iclear16 heads last for ages . . . 3 months mine tend to last, one of the best for longevity. It helps to have separate ones for different types of flavours, so you don't get quite so much cross flavouring then. Although I vape merrily through any change.
