That's how it should be North leading South Welcome and hello Smifee Where about is chandlers ford down south. sounds posh, is it? Its the same up here - bloody cold it is. Got to vape hard to stay warm. I think the south are leading the north in best vapemeets So I suppose you can say its a draw 1-1 fred answered my question Watford Hi Stamina Posh. I should say so. Only this afternoon we were having cucumber sandwiches with our lapsang souchong. It's halfway between Winchester & Southampton ( Come on you Saints!!! ). Only claim to fame/infamy that I know of is that it had the highest divorce rate in the country a few years ago. A virus we didn't catch.

There's plenty of us on here that are south of Watford. Us Londoners are alive and kicking and have meet ups every 6 weeks.
Edited to add - its not just Londoners, the meets are London and South East - some of our regulars travel to them from Essex, Kent and Surrey. Hi Julie I'm keeping a watch on the meets forum. I don't mind travelling for a meet and Angie is always up for a bit of in the smoke or should that now be vapour.

Your lucky that you didn't catch the virus but if Southampton get a hiding tomorrow and your in a foul mood, a divorce might be on the cards. Dropped Rodriquez from fantasy football but have Lallana still in. Hope Suarez scores a brace but I think it be a low scoring game, maybe a draw. Cucumber sandwiches hey - posh git Crisp butty - in these parts.

Plenty of vapers in London, but shops are few and far between. We do have some cracking meets though with turnouts of 30-40 people plus sponsors giving us raffle prizes.

I have noticed this. I live in London and I have only seen 2 other vapers outside of meets. But my family is in Cumbria and when I visit, there are vapers everywhere and they have decent shops and stalls too. It's really taking off in the North (or some regions of it anyway).
I wonder if smoking rates before e-cigs make a lot of difference. I did notice as a smoker, especially after the ban, that it seemed to me like far fewer Londoners smoked than in the town I came from.
And the rent and rates on shops probably makes a big difference. Obviously here it's expensive to run a shop, but back home the High St has been 3/4 empty since the last recession so there are probably incentives to open a shop. (I'm guessing - it would make sense to offer a sweetener in a town that has sky-high unemployment and needs to attract visitors to its High St.) So if you are getting to the point of being sick of being a smoker, then you find a shop has opened near your work and you pass it a couple of times a day, and you are starting to see vapers out and about, it's advertising vaping to you. You can ask questions, buy a kit and get started very easily.

Grew up in Somerset, till my early 20's, then after flitting around the country, settled in Cheshire about 30 years ago.
Can still remember the winters down south when, with snow so deep, and the school bus still got through, damn it! Also flooding, from the River Axe which got to about 100 yards from my parent's house.
So, have to admit, in this part of Cheshire, the temp may be a few degrees chillier, but have had no extreme weather in that time.
With regard to vaping suppliers, the approved vendors on here might as well be down the road, as they always deliver next day, so have never looked for B&M stores.

I am not having this North/South divide. We all know that it is better oop norf, and that's coming from a born and bred Brightonian. Don't get me wrong, I do love it here in the South, but Northerners are more friendly, the beer is better (and cheaper) Yorkshire has chips to die for. What can be more important than that?
