Could we have a 'Back to top' link at the bottom of the page that takes you back to the top of the page,? I am too lazy to keep scrolling back up

Can we have 'New topics' being new topics every time when I click on it (after reading 1...2...9...)? I know it adds the little 'new' thingy but I'm a lazy b&%$*@d

Bioxx, if you mean the "New Topic2 button in the menu, I'm afraid the content that links to is fixed by Proboards Or are you talking about the yellow"new" icon, that shows a thread has been updated since you last clicked on that thread?

Confession time - even I didn't notice it until fairly recently . A while back, I thought "ooh we haven't got a back to top link" So found a code to add one. It was only when the code placed the link immediately below the one already there, that I noticed it So quickly went back in & removed the new code

There seems to be a bit of a bug in the code for the Back to Top link. If you use the "new" image on the new topics page to jump into the thread, you have to click the BTT link twice before it will take you to the top of page but if you go into a thread by clicking the page number, it works just fine.

Unfortunately Tizer, I have very little control over the "New Topics" button link It was something that (IMHO) proboard half heartedly added a year or so ago. If you click on a thread title in "new topics" rather than the yellow "new" icon, are you getting the same issue? tried checking both ways myself & I'm being taken BTT every time, so any extra info ie browser you are using might help me solve the problem. But can't guarantee it with new topics:(

I've never used the BTT, it's passed me by I recently complained on an Opera forum about the lack of a BTT add-on (they call them "widgets") for Opera, and someone very nicely/sarcastically pointed me to the Home key on keyboard. In donkeys' years of PC-ing I've hardly ever used Home and End except when typing a doc occasionally. However, I am nicely set up mousing with my left hand and vaping with my right, that's what comes naturally, so I'd rather have a right-click context menu for BTT, so's not to have to detach from zombie-mode, but am getting used to the keys now and use them on FF too. (I'm getting like OtherEgo, Chrissie, with my ramblings.) scylla

Lol Scylla, your ramblings would need to be 10 times as long to compare Talking of Otherego though, I wonder how his friend is getting on with the Riva he got for him?
