Handy little spreadsheet, cheers. I like the fact that it includes clones as well as originals - I'm now waiting for FT to get the GP Paps clone

The downside to this spreadsheet Pepperty is that it gets you curious about mods and atties that you never heard of icon_shoppingm

The downside to this spreadsheet Pepperty is that it gets you curious about mods and atties that you never heard of icon_shoppingm theres nowt wrong with window shopping and reading up on new innovations...my downfall - as always- will be whipping out my card and buying!! even when its blatantly obvious its beyond my capabilities ...recoiling lessons anyone?

Very handy, thanks. ha ha. probably isn't, but I will have to give it my best shot as I like RBA tanks too much not to give it a shot sometime soon Just don't do what I did and start with a Genesis style atty. Seriously, it was probably a great way to learn but I did lose a few hairs. However, it taught me a lot about hot spots and stuff so anything else is easy in comparison. A silica rebuildable is what I would advise. Something like the Igo-l is a good place to start because there is lots of space on the deck and it is not as fiddly as a protank/evod coil.

aha, now that's interesting as I always assumed that protank coils was first step, and they do look titchy and fiddly. I've got plenty of pre bought one so I don't mind tinkering with old ones as it won't matter.
I've plenty of ready made coils and decent gear so I'll look at having a go with a cheap rda - igo l? shall get one soon and read up and watch videos... and probably still be a bit clueless!

I could never do the protank coils when I first started. My eyes are are just not good enough for things that tiny and getting the rubber bung back in was frustrating. Plus you need to assemble it all before testing to see if it works. With something like the Igo, just wrap the wire around the wick and screw it down and it's ready to test. It was a great confidence booster for me anyway.

newdawn pointed me at a cheap ebay gismo that has bulldog clips and magnifying glass with built in light, so it'll help me with tinkering ( and probably give my family a right laugh) I've got a multi meter on order too so I'll gather some bits (nail clippers, tweezers, pointy pliers etc) and order wire and 'stuff' once I work out what I need - and keep on researching I really do need a box room...... haha

I agree on the RBA, it's a lot easier thatn you'd think, there's lots of little tricks you can pick up from watching youtube. My favourite at the moment is to make a micro coil using something that's like 2mm think, pop it in the wick hole with the coil, attach the coil then withdraw the item. You now roll the wick then gently rub it over some cotton wool and it picks up little strands, you just get the lightest covering and then pop it down the centre of the coil and into the wick hole. No shorts or anything, works perfect every time and if you want to replace the wick you just pull it out, burn the cotton off and do it again.
It's about the easiest I've found so far.
I look up ohms per metre on the vape mesh company site and work out roughly what it would be for say 120mm, that's about the length of a 12 wrap micro coil on a 2mm screw driver etc.
Also test on my svd before firing.
If you get or have a mech mod like a nemmy a 22mm rba just looks gorgeous on top, especially in 16350 mode too. It's all win no matter how you look at it lol
