Just finished my third ever mixing session and the scales written on my plastic 1ml and 2.5ml syringes have already rubbed off. I also managed to drop and break the plunger on my glass 1ml syringe after my second mixing session. Does anyone know a supplier that sells syringes that have scales that don't rub off? And which ingredient is the cause? Cheers

To stop the markings coming off, cover the syringe with clear sellotape, or clear nail enamel. I have had it happen to mine, and I wasn't using any of the strong flavours so best to just cover them all.

It's needles I have a problem with, well I don't now because I only have one left lol. They worked fine, but suddenly they wont suck up, it's as if there is something pulling the liquid back out, not easy to explain. I probably bought the wrong kind, if there is such a thing as wrong kind of needles. I will have to get some more now,

Take the needles off sammy13 . . . personally, I never use them. Find it much easier to decant into a small medicine cup and then draw up from there. VG/PG will cause markings to come off your syringes vigowomble . . . .

I only use needles when refilling my tanks. Not when mixing. Makes life difficult. Have 3 syringes at any one time for mixing. A 20ml one, a 10 ml one and a 1ml one and that's it. Plus a medicine cup. Sorted Yes the needles do get bit of who knows what in them with filling but I have loads from flea bay. Not a prob. I just reuse them for micro coiling

Thanks for the answers and tips Perpetua and @johanino. Useful for us rookie mixers.
