Is it better to use flat tops in a mech mod like a nemesis clone?

Are there particular ones that are best for the best all round vape?

I know it's probably been covered but I fancied a chat lol

Dont know but I use sony vct418650's theyre flat top and work in the vtr, svd and origin mech

All my batteries are button top, and got some vtc3 button tops on way too.... Hope they'll be ok with nemesis as got some of them on way too! Would of thought they'll work ok?

Oh bugger... Just looked again at fasttech pics, are vtc3 flat, well they are on their way now.... all 4 of them lol.

Flat tops seem to be recommended for the nemesis but the button tops fit and work, just wondering if the flat tops would work better because they maybe make better contact with the top pin?

Imo, button tops will work in more mods than flat tops, i have some flat top's that won't work in a Provari, keep meaning to get some nipples but being a tight git at the mo.

In fact as far as I am aware buttons tops will work in all the mods, Just that you may have a slight gap when you screw the bottom on, on some mods, but it will still work, and that's what counts.

For the nemesis flat tops work better. Button tops will work though so dont panic. It's just that with button tops the throw is going to be a bit longer on the switch which is why I prefer flat tops, shorter throw = smoother button and less crunch (unless you have magnets then theres no crunch anyway but the throw is still longer with button tops)

Just done searching and found out same... Unlike me not to over analyse every detail before purchase.

Looking forward to trying out the combo of low voltage drop in the nemesis(providing clone is still low) and low voltage drop of the vtc3s.

Logic seems sound, but dunno.
I've got a tankometer but won't have comparable flat tops n button tops to compare the drop.
