HI guys.Waiting on my first FT order made on 7/2 .Tracking so far was this: 16/2-received from sender 23/2-despatched overseas This by sing post reg airmail. All online tracking sites say the same so raised a ticket yesterday and this is reply
The originating post is preparing to despatch this mail piece. Now package is queuing for xray .Info updated when it goes through this process. Please wait for another days to see if package will be processed there.
Now to me that reads as though singpost havent even sent it yet they say (originating post) but they say despatched 23/2.
Confused now Is this perhaps FT standard response.Your thoughts please because if it is still there i will have to keep an eye on paypal deadline instead of the postie ! Thanks

I wouldn't worry about your order for a while yet. I have an order which was shipped by Fasttech on 16th February, "dispatched to overseas country" on the 22nd February, arrived at Heathrow on 7th March and will maybe be delivered sometime this week. Four weeks from Fasttech shipping an item and Royal Mail delivering it is normal.

jayjay65 the "dispatched to overseas destination" does not mean that it is on an aeroplane ... it obviously does not take 13 days for an aeroplane to travel from China to Heathrow. All that status means is that it has been sent to the airport and has to go through the whole xray/customs clearance process before actually being put onto an aeroplane ... so your package may well still be with customs clearance in China.

I expect misinformation from them, I think they just chuck out a response at random. They receive thousands of queries/tickets a day and most of the parcels turn up. So they try to put you off the scent. Don't expect any of these companies communication to be accurate, they play by a different rule book to Europe and America. Out of 30 ft orders they have all eventually turned up and I have never 100% knownwhat country they are in. I've had parcels show up at my front door when the tracking says they are still in Malaysia.

Ah.....now i understand !Flippin heck 16 days at their airport is a bit much though.Ive bought many things from china and hong kong and usually get them within 14 days or less (not vape stuff but still by same post system) Oh well il stop grabbing posties fingers when they come through letterbox and just forget it unless it gets close to pp deadline .Now start looking for cheap mod in uk as ive had these shiny new batteries for ten days and they need to go in something lol. Thanks for explaining that to me.

Fasttech and other Chinese companies that sell vaping gear (especially lithium batteries and eliquid) seem to receive special scrutiny from the Chinese customs

jayjay65 you could check the royal mail site with your tracking number. Once Singapore post states mine has been shipped I always start checking my Spanish postal site with the tracking number. I don't think Singapore postal site tells you any more than that its been shipped until you've actually received the package. You should get more info from Royal Mail on its whereabouts. I had parcel shipped from Singapore on 27 Feb, it's due to be delivered to me today according to the Spanish postal site.

You can rest assured that if you do have a problem(fingers crossed you don't), as long as you get your PayPal dispute in they will kick into second gear. The threat of you holding back the cash seems to work wonders. A friend of mine has a dispute with them about an unrecieved parcel. She paid from account credit after cancelling another item rather than PayPal. That was in January, even though she has no PayPal protection they are still sorting it out for her. Just at a slower pace. Good luck, it's like watching paint dry.

Il try and forget about it for another week, not easy as its my first mech mod,and perhaps have a look on ebay for uk one to keep me happy. If its not here by then il just get the right hump lol .

jayjay65 - I'm in exactly the same position as you. Tracking shows that it was dispatched overseas on 23 February, but no updates since then. All my other FT orders have turned up eventually, but it's a pain having to wait...

Post just been-only the leccy bill !Ive told myself that the response to my ticket was just standard one, they havent looked, its not in hong kong, and there is a royal mail van hot footing it over to heathrow right now for delivery in the next few days -im an optimist .At this rate i will have finished making my mod stand and it will sit on table empty for months!I want to order some more shiny things but was waiting till id got first one to see what quality is like.Think il just order a couple of things anyway, the longer i leave it longer it will take !Im off work at moment so i suppose thats making it worse as i could be setting up my first mod instead of watching daytime tv.You can bet ya life it wll come when i go back and i wont have time to play with it !

I've had a few things from there and found that tracker seems to bear no relation to where the actual item, is half the time. I've had ones arrived before that said it had even got to the uk.
