Absolutely .... Made a twisted micro coil.. .9 ohms ... Loads of vapour .. Never leaks ... No dry hits ... Easy to build .... Really easy to fill.... Will take a variety of builds / wick combinations .... May not be quite as pretty as the Kayfun but I think it's better .... Others will obviously have a different view

spikus - how would you say the squape stacks up against the GT? (clones that is) As I mentioned I am thinking of getting the squape clone from m-vape. Two things are holding me back though - 1) concerns about the coating on the deck of the clone and 2) price - could get 3 GTs from Fastech... need to see what I get from FT re the quality though - who knows what in the batch I ordered from lol....

I had connectivity issues with mine ... Would just stop working mid vape ... It's an issue with the threading on the positive pin not making decent contact ... I did a bit of a botch job repair by removing the pin and sticking a bit of kanthal in the hole then re-inserting the positive pin... I think they solved the issue by sending out replacement decks ....
I'm not sure how long the non conductive coating will last either
It's a very different airy draw that Taifuns / kayfuns
Build quality isn't quite as good.
Hard to get the wicking just right ... Fine balance between flooding and dry hits
I like the look of it ... Some don't
It seems to use juice quickly
Bit more fiddle to set up than the Taifun IMO
BUT ... If you get a glass version you have no tank cracking issues ...... I'll see if I have a pic of a coil build
I'd 100% go for a GT over the Squape ... Or get both !!

Thanks spikus - really helpful - much appreciated From all you've said I think I'll stick with the GT and wait for FT to deliver.... Did you get your GT from FT or did you use a UK supplier?

I watched a pile of youtube vids last night that say the kayfun and gt are just as good as each other, I'm going to buy a genuine kayfun lite plus, never had a dry hit or any leaks from my clone but fancy better quality threading etc.

cool - thanks spikus enjay- I think I will stick with the GT only route for now - it will arrive one day! If it works as well for me as it does for spikus I will buy some more of the same. I'm sure that the kayfuns are good too - but this way I shall only have one thing to learn to rebuild After this I will get some more mech mods (prob the atom and/or astro) to keep me going when my vw kit fails one day.... then that will be that (other than rebuilding and mixing of course!) I have been surprised at how much I have spent so far (shiney, shiney!) - and even more surpised at how much time I have spent researching stuff. Looking forward to the day when I can just vape and not think about it

i like the taifun for how you can screw it apart and keep your juice in top bit and ease of filling

I like the fact the kayfun is 22mm so it's totally flush on my nemmy.
