As long as it's better than a stupid kayfun, that thing is just a total pain in the hoop!

My kayfun clone had never leaked, although I'm not at all careful about keeping it upright. So when I read that I tried leaving it on its side on a tissue for a couple of hours, and yes, it does leak, but it is very slow - maybe 1 drop in 2 hours left horizontal. I guess the rate of leak might vary with what you use for wick and how it is packed, but if you are moderately careful I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

I have an expromizer. It's a well-thought out design, and should be trouble free. But it isn't, not by a long shot. It leaks into the airflow section below the deck, plus it's deck/chimney is exactly the same design as the kayfun, so will have the same issues if left on its side. The supplied o-rings don't provide an efficient seal, causing flooding, and the improved replacements wedge the threads so tight that you need to be the love child of the Incredible Hulk and wonderwoman to undo them to fill up the tank.
Having said that, the vape is good, more vapour than a kayfun but slightly less flavour for some reason.
In hindsight I wish I'd saved an extra £20 and gone for a KFL+, but I have 23mm mods and so I persevere with the 23mm atty for OCD reasons...

thanks for the heads up ionian. All the big name you tube reviewers I've watched seemed seem to be enamoured of the expro - its good to get an actual owner's take on it. Hmm not the automatic winner it looked to be then. ... Looks to be between the KF series (lite plus leader of the pack?), taifun GT/GS, Squape, Expro ... btw - thanks for the not-leaking-badly info re the KF too guys. enjay - thanks for the UD AGI suggestion - looks a bit too complicated for me at this stage lol.

How could I forget the spheroid? - must do a spreadheet to see how much vaping has cost so far (or could cost!) Still baccy used to cost £500 a year - I mustn't lose sight of that

Ha ha I was tired and grumpy last night but got the kayfun working at last. Anyway regarding the AGI I've only been at this since the beginning of December so not long and I've got the hang of it no bother and it's cheap. www.vapegear.co.uk/product/agiDon't forget it's a tank and a dripper in one

Don't get me wrong, the expromizer is a good atty, but it isn't trouble free. If you don't like the idea of buying clones, it's the best atty at its pricing point. I've watched a lot of the reviews as well, in fact I bought it on the strength of them, but having had it for a month or so the repeated problems become more apparent.

you cant go wrong with a kayfun real or fake, i think most rbas are judged on a kafun these days for flavour and ease of build, so i would suggest one of them

What do you reckon for my first RBA folks? Things I'm looking for... simple to build (one coil is fine!) not leaky - thinking of carrying it about easy to fill doesn't have to have a huge tank (am used to the iclear30s 3ml) fits on a nemmy clone rather than original prices (so I'm not scared to touch it ) would be nice to have a glass or SS tank hmm - I've run out of questions - don't know enough to ask intelligent ones lol (have looked at the safety side so won't take any risks with low ohms and over dicharging batteries etc) Off to clear out stuff in the garage to make room for my new juice mixing bits - I may be some time .... Thanks to all in advance I've been reading this thread with interest so thought I'd chip in. I have a Kayfun 3.1ES, 2.1ES and two Spheriods, I enjoy vaping on all three but would agree with Super-Shiny that the Spheriod best fulfills your criteria. It's the simplest to build of the 3. It cannot leak, My KF's haven't leaked but they can. Dead easy to fill. It doesn't have a large tank. Fits on a Nemisis. I use HoL Juice and most of them are coil gunkers, with the Spheriod it's so simple and quick to remove the cotton, dry burn and refit the cotton with no mess or loss on juice, even if it's just been filled. That is just not possible with the KF's without making a mess, losing juice and having to do a complete strip and clean. As far as flavour goes, the 2.1ES and the Spheriod are hard to separate and I wouldn't like to say which is best, it depends on which one I'm using at the time The 3.1ES is a pleasure to use, it just feels right, if you know what I mean, I get a very satisfying vape from it, but I've never thought of it being superior to the other two in terms of flavour. Just my view on three great RBA's, hope it helps.

I don't know why nobodies taking up the UD AGI though, it's just that good, never leaks , doddle to build, single coil, same as your thing, pop out the wick, dry burn, replace wick and carry on and it's sooo cheap too. Only time they're a bit tricky is with mesh but you just wrap a small amount of cotton round the top and no shorts ever. The thing is pure quality though, threads are perfect, the top cap is nice and tight on the o rings with no wobble, drip tips fit beautifully, they've changed the centre spring to gold so it never gets a voltage drop like the early ones, can easily be set up as a tank or dripper and it fits perfect on the nemesis. Everyone should have one in their collection imo

Thanks again guys - have been you tubing like mad.... should have made notes though - find myself watching something already viewed 3 hours before. Lost in a flurry of info about leaking bits, spring centre posts, refilling through holes.... So - I am going to list all your suggestions and start again lol - this time will make notes .. on the plus side got diverted to looking at kicks in the middle of it all - bought 3 from evolv (version1) so am further forward on one front! Back after some more review watching
