Mechanical mod?

Don't need one. Have more than enough kit to last me and more on the way.

But for some strange reason I just fancy a mechanical mod.

Can anyone recommend one and more importantly how to use one safely? Please

Using it is simple, clean the contacts when first purchased, drop the battery in and you may have to adjust the top pin a little.

Thank you Super-Shiny I already have the batteries (didn't know they could be used in a mechanical mod, bought them last year from vapeescape)

Not sure about using a kick, may be a step too far for me to start off with.

That 18650 battery you linked is the correct battery to use if you ain't using a kick as it has built in protection.

Basically use protected batteries if not using a kick, and un-protected batteries if you are using a kick as the kick has the built in protection.

That battery is un-protected so you will either need a kick to give the mod protection or just get a protected battery.

I have two mech mods now Zelda. I got the mixed edition nemesis clone by Hcigar, which is supposed to be the best of the clones. It looks very stylish and works great, although there's a bit of fiddling about to get it set up how you want it. I have been usng it without a kick so far as I already had protected batteries, but I do have a kick winging its way from slow tech.

My other mech mod is my dream mod the Titanide Themis 14, which Mr Dolly bought me as an early birthday present. It is extremely expensive, which is why I got it early as Cloud9 had a big discount on them in January. It really is a work of art and vapes beautifully with the matching tank, but, it's a lot of money to spend unless it is something you really lust after.

Super-Shiny- doh - sorry to get you explaining that again - I actually posted the wrong link - it's the unprotected ones I have! Think I'll go back to bed and start the day again!

Out of interest (I am currently using the unprotected ones in my VTR - relying on its built stuff to protect me) could I use the protected versions in the VTR - or would the doubled up protection mess things up? Not a biggie - It's just that I plan to stock up on batteries soon and it would be nice if I could just buy one product.

I am a huge fan of the magneto zeldamum. You can get it from safer cigs.

Little problem with the switch coming off sometimes but easily fixed. I tried the nemesis and hated it. I'll stick to my magneto. Plus it's mod destroyer proof but not thief proof. Only problem I've had with it since new year was when it got stolen LOL

PS. I don't use a kick (I break them) and find it fine... it's hard to switch from the vv/vw to mechs but really battery lasts longer as is so worth it
