EVERYDAY????? Gosh, I don't want to be doing this everyday! Yes I am not sure if I don't it right as the youtube tutorial said they used the top flavour wick so that is what I done, but I must admit, I am not getting no taste as I have put it all back together

You should be getting something surely, even with the original flavour wick - unless you maybe used too much or too little cotton wool??

I am thinking that it must be user error as I don't it about an hour ago now so it should be soaked. I wonder if it is because is am using it in a mini protank 1 as opposed to the 2 as this is one of the reasons I am trying to move it on!

Mini protank 1 and mini protank 2 take the same heads, and both perform exactly the same.
There is no difference vape wise between them.

Too late I have put it all back together to vape, I will probably take it apart again to have a look at whether it is soaked or not

Yes Sammy that's what we have been using for ages now. One bag will last a lifetime I reckon! LOL

I got my cotton wool from Boots the Botanics range is organic, Mrsmac did you put some juice directly on the cotton wool before putting the head back together? Then fill clearo as normal & do a couple of pulls without firing the button? then leave for 5 mins before vaping.
I just did as Super-Shiny shows in his guide & the flavour is awesome, my daughter tried a cotton wool microcoil on Friday she was vaping Raspberry menthol & said she could taste both flavours something that has never happened before.

edit: Mrsmac i have had my cotton wool coil in over a week & theres still lots of taste & on the guide i have linked for sammy13 it tells you at the bottom about replacing the cotton wool.

oh yes & i don't put a flavour wick in mine.

Thanks dinamic, I am going to pull it apart tonight and try again, I didn't put juice on it first which is probably where I went wrong but one I get in there i shall see!

Thanks for the heads up on the boots range, I shall have a look tomorrow. Really want this to work, I always make things more complicated than they seem lol

aha! just checked, random bag of cotton wool balls = officially 100% cotton wool, so have syphoned off a neat bag of it into my coiling box
Boy! have I bought some weird gear of late....pliers and tweezers and needles and wire....

Found a pair of decent plastic boxes in local Home & Bargain, at £3.99 a pop and thought one would be great for concentrates and one for coiling. Sods law - liquid bottles all millimetres too high for the drop down tray fitment into lid - so I had to viciously rip off one tray to get lid to shut, ruined the aesthetics gutted! at least from the outside they match (and my concentrates did all fit in)
