So I have been looking around the forum. Can't believe that in just a couple of days, a whole world of heads, batteries, coils, wattage, ohms, voltage etc have begun to make good sense. I want to say a massive thank you to all the experienced vapers that take the time to help and support us newbies. The forum has great spirit! I have just a few things to clarify. I am currently using ce4s, I only have a couple (more tanks on the way though). One is primed and one other has had a dry burn and should hopefully get a little more life out of it til the others arrive. I won't ever be buying or using them again as it just seems wasteful. Once I am finished with them, are they aswell as going in the bin or could they be of any use to me at a later time? Also what is dripping? I have seen this mentioned a few times for people trying out new flavours. How is this done and with what? Thanks guys, Mikey.

Mikey@Vaporized, take your old knackered c4s and dismantle them, all sorts of spare O rings to be had. as for dripping, an atty device that enables you to just literally drip a few drops onto your coil assembly, then vape. Great way of trialing flavours, but if your like me, i prefer just to fill the tank and vape (lazy bugger you see )

guess it goes with everything here we don't need - rather than throwing it away - if you are into engineering - dismantle them - if you are not - ask the mod makers I am with charon - I just fill my tanks

306's are a great atomiser for dripping . . . though I don't know at this stage whether I'd be considering them. A small clearomizer like the Iclear16 which doesn't hold a vast amount of eliquid would give you a good idea of what a flavour is like, for less faff Mikey@Vaporized.

Perpetua, I have 3 on the way I have been reading in some places that these are not ideal on an ego 650mah due to the draw on the battery from the dual coils. Apparently this can reduce the power the battery is giving and not give as good a vape? Don't suppose you can advise me whether this is entirely accurate?

Talking from experience the iclears do draw more on the ego battery. Two factors come into play, the resistance and the mah. Given that you have small batts you are probably better using the 2.1 ohms on the battery.
I have personally used both on the 650mah and would say that the lower ohms gives a better vape BUT with anything dual coil you will need to charge the battery more oftern and it is not advise able to go lower than 1.8ohms. I am sure those with more expertise will be along to clarify

Hello again Mrsmac that's ok, I am looking at bigger batteries from fast tech just now anyway. Had though of getting a small 350mah to take out and about but also looking at a 900mah. I'm sure the 650's will last til I can get a bigger one as I have a couple.

Mrs M has pretty much beaten me to it Mikey@Vaporized . . . I'd suggest it could be worthwhile getting a battery with a higher mah, or something like a Twist which is a Variable Voltage Ego style battery. You'll find you'll need to recharge those 650's quite frequently using a dual coil.

Mikey@Vaporized, take your old knackered c4s and dismantle them, all sorts of spare O rings to be had. charon, is there another o ring other than the one on the mouthpiece that would be of any use? Away to have a look at them now, dunno where to start though as they seem like they will be tricky to take apart.
