So I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of some juices & having read the "steeping" thread am I correct in thinking you need to take the lids & caps off the bottles? Can I then put them in a sealed box(Tupperware)or will this defeat the purpose, do they need to air? Just concerned as I have kids & animals so want to keep everything as safe as possible, I would be putting the box in my wardrobe high enough up & out of reach

I went a bit mad lol! Got 5 from juice juice & 3 from T juice as I couldn't resist trying the Red Astair after reading all the threads on it!

T juice is pre steeped I think, certainly Red Astaire is ready to go when it lands - when I mix my own from concentrate there is very little difference between a 2 day old mix and a 1 month+ one

There's a lot of baloney been written about steeping IMHO. There is only one necessary ingredient. Time. If you're making your own juice you need the patience to set it aside (for several weeks in some cases) and let it do it's thing. If you're buying ready-made, most are good to go when you get them. The vendor should tell you if they need steeping time. That's not to say that even pre-made won't benefit from a bit of extra time. The exception to this is Red Astaire. Extensive global research has established that pre-made is fine straight out of the postie's hand. DIY and you're looking at - oh - a cuppa between making and vaping

There's a lot of baloney been written about steeping IMHO. There is . . . and I don't understand the hardship waiting for something to infuse for a week or two in most cases, to get the best from it. * T-juice being an exception * That isn't aimed at you pegasus3, you're just starting out so it's a natural question to ask, given the space it seems to take up on forums.

Perhaps it is to do with my taste buds, but my Red Astaire mix tasted awful after just a few days and I was very upset. However after two weeks I am now happily vaping it and it is rather nice.
