I've recently mixed up some spearmint by Flavour Art and it seems to have a really weird aftertaste to it. Anyone ever used this one and if so did you experience the same as me? When I mixed it, it seemed a bit thicker than the other concentrates, a bit sort of slimey. Just put it in my iclear 30s and swooshed it around a bit and it was still sorta slimey. I'm not sure what to make of it I went for this more expensive spearmint flavour (£3.20 x 10ml) due to the catastrophe with Capella's spearmint which had no taste whatsoever to it, so am a bit miffed now that this one has this weird aftertaste - or is it just me. Don't seem to have much luck with spearmint, maybe I should just give up trying to get a nice spearmint flavour

No idea toots on the flavour art and capella Spearmint as ive not tried them. But have heard bad things of the capella one. Just yesterday i made up 10ml of Cupcake World spearmint, but have added a bit of koolada to it. will give it a try the weekend and let you know. i do remember getting a 10ml sample of Spearmint from joose juice, and it had an aftertaste i did not like. so it may just be that spearmint, for some strange reason? just don't work as a vape. Cheers......Rick

Thanks richvapers, will be interested to hear what cupcake world's spearmint is like. Oh, I forgot to mention that the liquid went cloudy as soon as I added the concentrate and has stayed cloudy. All my other mixes are clear. Am using clear bottles so can see straight away that it looks different to everything else I've mixed. Another reason I'm wondering if something is wrong with this one.

does not sound good if it stayed cloudy? i do remember mom&pops concentrates done that but mixed in with a shake. Heres me pick of mine, and as you can see it is clear, and am not expecting it to change a great deal.

Hmmm, yes, I can see your spearmint is clear richvapers. Mine being cloudy is making me more than a bit worried about it now. I wonder if I should contact Flavour Art and ask them if it should be clear or cloudy before I do anything with it. Also whether it should be slimey. I bought it via Chefs Vapour but that shouldn't matter should it? I do really need to speak to someone at Flavour Art rather than at Chefs Vapour as they should know their products better than Chef Vapour would. I've checked the end date and it's ok till sometime in 2015 so it's not out of date. I also got some lemon sicily by Flavour Art and that one is ok, not cloudy or slimey at all. What a flippin carry on for just one concentrate though. All I want is a nice spearmint - shouldn't be too much to ask for should it

Hey richvapers let me know what that cream soda is like as well. I love the cream soda drink and just seen you've got one in that picture. Could do with trying that one out myself

I've fired off an email to Flavour Art as follows: I purchased one of your flavour concentrates via a UK distributor and need to ask a question about it.
The flavour is spearmint. As soon as I added it to my base mix the whole mix turned cloudy and has remained cloudy, the concentrate was also rather slimey in texture and now that I've done a taste tester I find it has a peculiar aftertaste to it.
My question is should the mix have turned cloudy with this particular flavour or should it be clear? Should it still be slimey in texture several days after steeping? Could there possibly be something wrong with it?
The bottle is not out of date.
I also bought your lemon sicily flavour and that one is perfectly fine, not cloudy at all, not slimey and the taste is divine, no peculiar aftertaste to it.
I thought it best to contact you even though I bought it from one of your dristributors as you would know your product better than any distributor.
I look forward to your reply.Wonder what they will come back with

Just had a google toots can't find anything even remotely similar to your situation . Seems to me that it maybe a bad or contaminated batch. Don't vape anymore of it until you hear back from f'art

Thanks Steve (VapeStorm) for looking it up on google, never thought of doing that Nah, not using it, poured it out of my tank after just a few puffs as I thought something wasn't quite right with it. Best to be safe than sorry eh Will now wait for Flavour Art's reply. Would be funny if they offer me a new bottle then find out I'm in Tenerife and they then have to pay international postage

I have Flavourarts Spearmint I got direct from Italy. It is fine, and not cloudy. maybe very very slightly in concentrate bottle - more a light haze than cloudy. When mixed it is absolutely fine, tastes like spearmint and pleasant aftertaste. Just as you would expect spearmint to be. You do not need much. Has yours come in an original flavourart bottle or been rebottled by the supplier? Latest (which you should have if 2015 use by) bottles have an orange coloured label and silver band where flavour is printed. If re-bottled then maybe the bulk batch was not stirred properly by bottler.

Usually mix at 5%, so just tried at 20%, totally clear. Now diluted to 10% and trying it in a protank2. Usually vape on this about 8 watts. It tastes lovely and no unpleasant after taste. I vape 12mg 70VG/30PG

What's the average shipping costs to the UK, just to give me a rough idea. Been looking through the site and there's a few things I could do with from there, depends on shipping fees to justify a purchase or not. Would also then try out their spearmint.

After mixing it is yours clear or cloudy? Edit: Ooops just read your next post, I see that yours is clear after mixing - well mine definitely is not clear, so obviously something is wrong with mine

toots Mine is totally crystal clear after mixing..just checked teh stuf I mixed this morning and still clear. Buying Direct. Shipping is 3.90 Euro. Flavours are 2.67 Euro each, and inlcudes their 22% vat, and discount. Use discount code FL125 for 12.5%. If you use a credit card which does not charge a foreign transaction fee then you should get the straight visa exchange rate which is better than paypal. They do not accept paypal as far as I know. So you may have to allow for foreign transaction commission fee. (Cheapest I have found in uk is Postmodernsmoking, his flavours come direct from Italy and always been well within use by date.) Direct from FA Italy they are longest date you will get as they mix or bottle to order so orders can take a couple of weeks to ship, In past I have always had within a couple of weeks. Every order so far has included a free flavour as well which they choose and include gratis. When filling in order online, you may get impression it has extra surcharges, they will disappear when you select normal post and pay by debit or credit card. Remember your FL125 code. edit. I should also add the bottles are 10ml but filled with 12ml.
