hi,
seen some old posts on these but anyone got any good ones at a decent price.
looking to steep in it mainly (maybe clean a few tanks etc) , want it to hold around 10 x 10ml bottles or 4/5 30ml bottles.
so what litre size will be big enough. ?
Argos do one but it doesnt tell u the Litre size ? plus doesnt look to solid (anyone tried one? )
The maplins (0.75L) one is £45 a little more than i would like to pay.
Suggestions welcome

Forget about using it for steeping Clive . . . and just use it for cleaning. There's no shortcut to some patience IMO . . . .

exactly what Perpetua said - you would need to use it for hours for the steepeing and even then the result is a big question this is a great ultrasonic cleaner - kindly recommended to me by forum members - and I love it - cleans perfectly

I got my ultrasonic cleaner from ebay a jpl6000 waited a couple of days and got it £20.00 I only use it for cleaning though didn't find it very good for steeping but most of my mixes are fruits so only take a couple of days anyway.

I have one from Maplin, it was on offer. Very good at cleaning everything.
Never used it for steeping, I just make up juice a couple of weeks before I need to start using it.

I saw this thread and thought I know some nice cheap cleaners I can put a link to. Oh fudge I guess since the vaping community has stated to get these the demand has gone up (nearly double on most sites I had saved for later) and most of the reviews on them are "these are great for cleaning new atties" or " I've cut my steeping time to half with this". lol So moral of the story is when you find something really good either get everyone to buy at same time or don't tell any one about it

I bought one on ebay recently, £5 so throwaway money, but was surprised, first job a real stinky evod, after 15 minutes in just washing up liquid it was fine, sorry seemed to have lost link to seller. Other good thing it's small so sits on window ledge, advantage in small house.

I trust in u shiney but mind bugging me on something. did u ever test after a longer period, was thinking u compared 1 week natural steeping with 3 hours+ to same colour in ultrasonic. did u every test both after say 3 weeks and see what the outcome was. what iam getting at is the point is to speed it up a little and if the juice from ultrasonic was ready at 3 weeks and the natural at 4 weeks then its a sucess , isnt it ? or maybe colour/steep in ultrasonic for 3 hours but test both after week , see the gain. I suppose iam still not letting go of an option to cheat, did u ever solve the lid on , lid off puzzle ?

Keep your eyes out for aldi and lidl. They have offers on ultrasonics now and then for less than £20.

did u ever solve the lid on , lid off puzzle ? Never got around to doing it, all i do is: Make a mix Give it a good shake Put it in a dark cupboard with lid off for 24hrs After 24hrs put the lid back on and give another good shake and put it back in the cupboard for it's required steeping time One thing i do know is that there is a difference between plastic bottles and glass, with the following picture the juice has been steeping for just over 3mths and if this was in a plastic bottle the color would be dark brown. I do like to throw a spanner in the works

Thanks mate will try the lid off thing in the future. plastic bottles V Glass . I have never used glass , could it be that the lid seals are better on the glass bottles and no air gets in. using plastic sometimes the lids arnt so good and maybe air sneaks in a little. got to be something like that. I am properbly off target but thought it could be possible. clive
