there are already many nice smileys under smiley icon - but some of you have soo nice ones like this whistling one of jess - how do you do this - copy them and save them on your desktop - maybe dear mods we could add a few of those nice ones

Just pick your smiley what you want and just below it says: Codes, click on that and then click on Forum code and it should highlight it, just copy and paste....woolah:

Whilst the above works;

If you go to your Profile then Edit Profile & settings then open the Settings tab and scroll down you'll see "Personal Smilies" with 10 slots, you can add the links to the smilies on an external site in here and they will then appear in the insert smilies menu you get when you open a compose or reply like that!

and I tried to add - DiscoDes but somehow I did not manage to do it correctly as it doe not appear on my smileys

It took me a while to sus out how to do it as well Clivia, but I've now got a few added to my profile settings, must go and get some more new ones though - here's one of mine I don't think I've ever felt the need to use

Scroll down to the bottom of your smileys and then some more. I couldn't find mine at first - they appear underneath where it says personal smilies

Clivia forgot that the code would automatically convert to a link, you may need to add the [ http:// ] before the [ www. ]
