Bottom line ... If you've got your head around re - coiling protanks or evods then you MUST have a go at an RBA.. With great quality clones only cost £13-£15... You'd be mad not to ... They are so easy to coil .. And if you use CW you will rarely have to rebuild coils .. Just replace CW

My input on this thread was driven by the misconceived thoughts that buying expensive new Atomizers will "always" give a much better Vape whereas as we all know its down to your build.
My experience with rebuilding Protank Heads is limited as I found them too small and soon gave up and moved on to a genuine KFL+,the build deck gave me so much room that I began to enjoy tinkering with various builds and have a nice stock of assorted gauge Kanthal.

In solenoid's defence I have watched Todd's reveiw on the NatureVape starter kit. He gives it a lot of praise, looks like the coils in the clearo have premade microcoils in them. He said the flavour and vapour is comparable to more high end gear.

I know that Todd did a review, and I've already watched it.

I was asking about your kayfun build though..

I've had countless protanks and davides and have microcoiled all of them. Yes they gave off good vapour, but the flavour in comparison to even the dream (19mm kayfun copy) is muted and hollow. There's no depth in the flavour.

I'm not saying that I don't respect Todds opinion as I have bought a lot of kit off the back of his reviews. However, if a modded kanger head gives you better flavour than a kayfun then I really think you need to rebuild your kayfun!
