I do prefer 18500 myself but often use 18650 just because of laziness and less battery changes. lol

I wouldn't be without one at all. It's my back up device and I use it in all sizes as I have a set of twins. Really handy when you're out and about and realise you've only got an 18650 battery in your bag. Lol. You certainly won't regret it and you've gone for a lovely choice of colour. My favourite other than the bronze with green LEDs which I have now.
