Hi all,
I've just started to finish with cigarettes, one of my colleagues uses smoko which I've just started on. However, its not really doing the trick. Ive purchased virgina rolls and orginals 24%.
I've smoked over 20 years about 30-40 a day Benson and Hedges. But i'm desperate to stop now, started to play a bit of footie and my lungs can't cope. LOL. The smoko's dosen't give the same feeling at the moment I smoke aswell.
I've seen online you can buy some which you can adjust voltage etc some of them do look really smart. I just want some advice on what's the nearest to a normal cigarette with the smoke and flavour, easy to maintain (as I'm a lazy arse) and looks smart.
Need to save money and my health.
Thanks

greetings and to AAEC pitcher500As Super-Shiny has posted above, all good advice and do please forget about getting what's the nearest to a normal cigarette with the smoke and flavour it just isn't going to happen. With a cigarette you are inhaling some 300+ different chemical elements including burnt paper, with vaping you are inhaling just a flavoured nicotine and exhaling vapour. A lot of folks start off using tobacco flavour but soon move on from that. The trick is to take it slowly and one step at a time, Dual fueling (smoking and vaping) is common with some new folk, give it time and you will get there in time. In the mean time if you have any questions, just ask away. Enjoy.

Thanks Forget cig a likes, other than that any battery is a good option. An evod, ego battery or a variable voltage such as the i.taste , spinner , twist. So first question is do you want variable voltage? Most newbies don't start this way. Then you need something to pop on top of the battery to hold the liquid. An evod, mini protank will give a cool sensation. An I-clear 16 will give a hot juice effect. Then juice - well what you think you will like you probably wont lol. If you want tobacco flavour I can recommend THIS www.ltecigs.larsentilbrook.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&filter_name=MAXX%20BLENDStart at the beginning and work from there.

hi pitcher500 and welcome - as you have got already a lot to see through - I just say - fantastic your decision - do one step a time you will get there drink also a lot of water as vaping can dehydrate - don't go too low with the nicotine at the beginning - your body will tell you when to go down - and as Sammy said - don't bother with the cig-alikes most of all enjoy the journey and ask as much as you want

Welcome pitcher500If a standard e-cig is not doing the trick and you are determined enough to keep trying, I would certainly recommend higher power kit. Last time I looked, smoko was nothing more than a rip-off mini e-cig. The chance of quitting with a product like that is next to zero. 1 refill is less than 10 cigarettes. Puffs and nicotine are NOT the same. There are 3 types of e-cig really (in my world anyway) 1. cig-a-likes (only for the light smokers - avoid the brands that give it the hard sell and take your money gratuitously) 2. eGo e-cig. Good!! Work for most users. 3. Higher power "Mod" e-cigs. I'll come back later.... Nice to have you along.

Hi there pitcher500 and to the madhouse As has been said you've got a lot of comments on here to start looking at different setups, so I'll leave that side of things alone. I would suggest though that you start on a nicotine level of either 18mg (1.8) or 24mg (2.4) to start with after smoking B & H ciggies. You can always change to different strengths later. Try the 18mg liquid in one clearomiser (liquid holding tank) and 24mg in another clearomiser, that way you should be able to tell which strength you prefer after a while, or even maybe prefer a higher strength at different times of the day and lower strength at other times. You need to have a suitable strength of liquid to satisfy your nicotine cravings which will help you off the ciggies. Good luck

Thank you for such a warm I was wandering the one that super shiny recommended are the parts all standard across different manufacturers or do you have to stick to the same supplier. Also, how do you know how much battery you have left is there an indicator on the device. So are the ones with voltage ones a waste of money for a starter like myself? thanks again.

pitcher500 - a warm welcome from me too! You will find that all the components that Super-Shiny linked to are interchangeable, and are standard industry connections. EGO are common on most smaller batteries, but even these will take the 510 fitting which uses the inside thread and are compatible with the larger mods and bigger battery holders too. Here's to a great vaping journey!
