I have a twist battery. It is fully charged, and that procedure went fine. When I 5 click the button lights up and flashes , another 5 clicks button is locked, so all seems fine there.
However as soon as put any clearo on it ( I've tried 3 ) the button stays lit for 1 second then flashes to cut off, like it normally would when you have been vaping for 7 seconds or something.
What is wrong with it? Could it have got wet, maybe a little leak I didn't notice, or would this not cause this? Any ideas what may be wrong or how to fix it?

If I turn it on ( 5 clicks ) and press the button without a clearo attached the light stays on, its just as soon as I put a clearo on it cuts out, and starts flashing.

Could be the centre pin shorting in the connector, try raising it a tad.

Ok, I've tried everything, from nudging the pin to almost pulling it to the top, it makes no difference, what on earth is wrong with it

Is the rubber insulator between the centre pin and body ok? That could cause a short. Maybe worth googling what happens to these batteries if there's a short, if the symptoms mach you'll have an idea what you're looking for.

It says this, which doesn't help me much - Short circuit protection - when short circuit happens, the battery will automatically shut down and it won't resume work until the short circuit has gone

Have you another battery to try your clearo's on? That's what I love about the itaste you can check your clearo with it. Try cleaning around and just inside the battery head maybe something has slipped in I use a cotton bud dipped in vodka to do mine it's amazing how much dirt gets in.

With nothing attached it seems perfect, charges up, charger goes green, 5 clicks button flashes on, 5 clicks button flashes off, I nudged the pin, moved the pin, in the end thought sod it and really went for it lol, but as soon as I connect anything to the top it cut out within a second. With nothing attached the button stays lit.
