Surreptitiously..............

I've decided to make this my "word of the day", for no apparent reason, other than I read it on something earlier & can't get it out of my head........so far today, I've used it 3 times ......I slipped it into a sentence, even though it didn't make any sense whatsoever.......for example, when thanking the cashier for my receipt at the Waitrose check-out, I said "Thank you surreptitiously" & just got a nod & a smile...........luv it.............

I must surreptitiously admit it is a word that sounds funny, but not as much as bougainvillea though!
