Yea, I'm the same Steve, can't stand the stinky smell. but never think of having one,, I don't even vape outside I never think about vaping when I am busy.

I still go outside pubs to stand with my die hard smoking friends. Inevitably ends up with a couple of them asking for a go on my ecig. I realise how jammy I am to take to it so readily.

The one thing that I've noticed on this site is that no matter what you post. Someone has experienced something similar and can give you advice and help

wingit Cant say that I have ever had "cravings" as such, but I do still have all my old pipes and my baccy jar now holds a selection of 10ml juices.

Personally I'm thinking my mind is just too addled to even remember what smoking was like

I used to find myself reaching for my 20 year old tobacco tin when I was busy or had a drink.
Solution:

Stick a button on it, a 510 connector, and 2 18650s in parallel inside. A monster semi mechanical 3 day vape machine.
It didn't stop cigarettes occasionally popping up in my dreams though.

I still have my favourite pipe in the garage where it can't smell anyone out. I threw away my oilskin tobacco pouch as the odour had changed from Cherry and Vanilla to old mould!
Still have the remains of a 50g of AL in the cupboard complete with papers and filters, but don't have the slightest inclination to use them whatsoever. Just there for nostalgia.

7months vaping and not one stinkie and don't think I could but oddly I have been thinking of the taste lately ! Never fancied tobacco juices but recently made up some primo Verdi .... Tastes like a dirty ash tray but in a wierd good way rolled a perfect stinkie for OH yesterday ! Still got the knack! Was I tempted ... Not a chance ! The thought of putting a tiny piece of paper filled with Tabacco to my lips and lighting it actually felt totally bizarre and alien !

To the original question, NO I don't miss fags at all, could never go back to them, and never crave them. I switched straight over to vaping, maybe that's why, but it was my experience

It's taken me about 2.5 years to get over the baccy craving wingit. When I first started vaping (3 years in June) I would smoke for a few days every 3 weeks. I had to up my nic right up to 36mg/ml to get over that ....worked for me.

Then it's only been when I've lowered my nic too fast (Perpetua LOL)

Lowering your nic too fast can be dangerous....I speak from experience.

So yeah nothing to worry about. Not even if you now decide to smoke for a few days (did that a plenty in 2.5 years when nic too low. Smoked 6oz in 2.5 years. Not worried. I would smoke an oz of tobacco a day before. tis nothing )....

Over the last month I've noticed that on a few occasions, not many, but a few, that after eating my mind has for just one split second sprung up with the thought 'fag time', then the thought has gone as I reach for my vtr.

Yeah, funny how the mind plays tricks on you. I would never ever go back to smoking so why the brain does that is just weird

We've had decades being brainwashed by the ANTZ into believing smoking & nicotine are the mother of all evils, subliminally countered by big T putting god knows what into their products to make them more addictive. Add to that every time we had a ciggie it was a little act of positive reinforcement, it's no wonder our brains go a little haywire occasionally

we gave our brains plenty of time for the smoking - I think it's just normal wingit - those thoughts - happened to me a few times in the first 10 day - fortunately not anymore - and back then I just immediately had a few puffs and told my brain to shut up -

I have never actually craved a cigarette, but I do get agitated when my set ups are not going right, you know how it is , we all have bad days, juice tastes of nothing, no vapour batts need charging AGAIN, because I put them down pick up another one , forget to charge the one I put down etc etc.

No, I could never light a cig up again, when I see people doing doing it in the street I just want to shout out loud, please learn about vaping you won't smoke a cig again. But I just walk away, feeling sorry for them that they have not yet learned about vaping.
