Is a devious son of a b1tch!!
I stopped smoking "stinkies" overnight after my first day with ecigs.
After 23 days of vaping my "devious" mind has realised that I've stopped smoking "stinkies".
It can't taunt me with the lack of nicotine hit. I think my brain went into shock and is now recovering.
What it's making me crave for now, is the reaching for my tobacco pouch, opening it, smelling the rich aroma of golden virginia tobacco, the act of packing my rolling machine and then the satisfying clink of producing a "perfect" rolled cigarette.
As I said, the human mind is a devious SOB.
Anyone else suffered from this, delayed, reaction??

Yes There are other addictive substances than nicotine in a ciggie. Apparently it is very normal to get cravings around 2 weeks. I will pass easily if you let it Another bump is around 6months apparently, something to do with the way ciggies alter the brain ... After that there is no excuse at all

I used to roll by hand, and prided myself on the perfect rollies I could produce. I certainly missed that for a while, but it's since been replaced by rebuildables. Making a perfect microcoil, cleaning and filling a variety of different atties, and that crisp taste that a new coil gives you after the first nervous few pulls has cured it for me.
I hit 6 months tomorrow - strangely, I've been thinking about smoking more over the past month but not thinking about it in that I want to do it, just thinking about it as a process. Then I remember the smell, and smell smoke on other people, and I'm reminded of an immediate plus to not going back.
It'll pass - do a bit of kit maintenance of an evening, keep your hands busy!

I bet if I went upstairs, found a plastic-wrapped 50g pouch of GV or AL and cracked open the packet, the desire would be there to roll up a beauty. Medium fat, about the width of the swan (ultra slim) filter, perfectly rolled without a crease or anything. Would I smoke it? NO. Not a chance.

When I am fancying a bit of tobacco I just raid the fridge and get 2/3 tomatoes, that quickly cures my craving.

Oh yes!! I still love the smell of unburnt tobacco soooo much, what's more confusing is how much I hate the smell when it's burnt

Two months in after 45 years plus of Old Holborn, 100gm a week, and no bother at all. I loved smoking I didn't give up for health, as I'm one of the fortunate few who didn't suffer. Used to drive my GP mad when he gave me the annual. Must admit, I've not felt any increase in energy or fitness either. I'm also anosmic, so no improved sense of smell. What the hell did I give up for? Oh aye - my hookey tobacco man got locked up. Looking at a jump from £19 a week to £35. My family tell me I smell a lot better. No idea why they didn't tell me I stank before. Still got a packet of tobacco somewhere in the house, but feel no urge to look for it as I love vaping as much as I did tobacco.

I have still got 100 silk cut in my cupboard , been there 2 yrs, just have not got the heart to give them away.throw them out,I'm a bit of a hoarder, never know when you might need them.
