So I'm still rubbish at coiling after nearly 6 months at it, this should come as comfort to new vapers who are attempting to make a coil mod work. Persevering with the Kayfun, this week I've run the gamut in particular (for no reason, just some weeks are worse than others) : gurgling leaking gurgling and leaking widdly weak vape, not so much clouds as wisps like those you see on a summer day in the sky more leaking vaping and getting a gob full of ejuice (hawlp) and then tonight, I took apart one of my 2 kayfuns and just rewicked it (the coil seemed fine - 1.8 ohms) with cutting wool - never using anything else - through the hole. Magnifying glass cap and a penlight on it in one hand, as I licked the wool, rolled it thin but not ULTRA thin, teased it through the coil with mini pliers then fingers, and cut it so so carefully to size with tiny scissors. Puff puff puff. ECSTASY. It's perfect Clouds, taste, the lot. I find I need to rewick about weekly once it works, and recoil monthly. It's a bugger to get right, but boy does it do the biz! Toot toot!

I love the way auto-correct thinks we're all wicking with cutting wool

I must be very lucky - although I've been microcoiling Protank heads for a few months, my Russian clone arrived 10 days ago, and the first microcoil and cotton wool is still vaping like a steam train - happy days! Glad to hear that you've nailed it davetherayon!
