I've had a couple of Protanks off of Focalecig and can confirm they were excellent quality and a pretty fast delivery time

FT are apparently in a restocking loop so I think I'm going to buy this from Focal and then order the coloured tubes from FT. I'm desperate to get my hands on one, they just look so shiny!

I'm always a little nervous of companies I've no experience with.
The group buy section is definitely worth monitoring.
More importantly to me, I have a great friend in Melbourne who, for reasons I'll not expand upon, can not order things herself, so I buy here and then ship out to her. If I an order and ship direct then that would be a major boon.

Just a word of caution on the "gold", it wears out pretty quickly. Obviously at these kind of prices it is a very thin coating. I bought the FT one and the bottom wider gold ring has virtually no "gold" on it, it`s just a dull brass look, the top ring is still mostly gold in colour. Looking at the pics on FT and Focal, I wouldn`t be surprised if they are exactly the same ones. 
Having said all that, they are still exceptional value for money on Focal and a bargain. They work great too, I have mine KICKed (with the FT 12 watt kick)

Once mine wears a bit more, I`ll just brasso the "gold" bits, it`ll look good as new again
They are selling like hot cakes, up to 219 sold now

I can't say I'm surprised, from reading the discussions it seems that FT aren't getting enough in to meet demand so there are big delays in them being shipped. I'm just going to order from Focal, can't be bothered getting stuck in a queue. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them are vendors looking to sell them on too.

Yes it does dagl If you you at the pic on page one, the top steel ring is used with the kick, if you dont use a kick, you dont use the top bit of steel tube
