look under your sink at all those chemicals workout the cost then work out how much it costs per year simple my cleaner was very very cheap no oven cleaner no chemicals in my food no bog cleaner everything sterile you need the odd bugs about to stay healthy, sterile and whats the bod going to fight,as soon as you go out you pick up all sorts and little bod goes into war machine mode, with out it ,it wont fight it,seen loads of people go sterile and end up with more bugs than anything... Look back to when we were kids,we were lot healthier and all we had in house was vim or disenfectant or bleach lol

I think our immune systems have been well and truely enhanced and it's now time to sort it all out

I have a small steam mop & a separate little handheld jobbie purely for little kitty accidents, or for not so accidental protest peeing, or you haven't scooped the litter box immediately so I'm gonna shit just outside it, or great you've filled the litter box, so now I can scoop great soggy paw-fulls & fling it round the room But I think if I was going to replace them it would be with something like THIS 2 in 1

That's the one I've got Karma & 4madcats. I love it, small, light, great for kitchen floor, worktops and bathroom. Yet to use it on the windows, but I see no reason why it shouldn't be good on there too. You need more storage space for the accessories than you do for the unit itself. Had mine for about a year now, and still going strong

Had mine for about a year now, and still going strong Must admit I don't know how many times I've watched (probably more like staring blankly) the infomercial at silly o'clock in the morning if I can't sleep, but I do like the fact that you can turn down the steam setting for it if your using it on laminate & the like, the cheapie one I've got now does tend to leave the floor quite wet. I'm also pretty sure it got highly rated by Which but I've cancelled my account so can't check now, but it's nice to hear from an actual owner that it's as good as they claim

My OH is a big fan of steam cleaners and we have had one for 10+ years. We have had several but the last one we got has turned out to be by far the best: www.amazon.co.uk/Karcher-SC1122-Mobile-Domestic-Cleaner/dp/B0001I1MTYThey have been discontinued and I don't know if you can still get this model, but I'd say something like it is your best bet and there are some other similar Karcher steamers on there. The cheaper ones are a bit of a false economy in our experience.
