Mission accomplished! I have persuaded my work mate to get on the e cigs! Feeling good about it!
So anyway, I said to him between £30/£40. He said he would love to have it for the weekend.
So I'm looking for the best starter kit with some e liquid. I'm thinking the mvp, though I don't own one I know they are very popular. I was intending on getting on for myself anyway.
Problem is he keeps saying he wants what I got (Caravela and Russian clone), I was trying to explain to him why it was not good for beginners lol! Only issue with the mvp is it is a box so may be a bit weird to hold for a first timer.
Any ideas will be much appreciated.
Thank you

+1 for GunJack's suggestion - a great place to start and if you order today you will certainly be vaping together come the weekend.

My only objection, if that's the right word, is that kit has standard ego batteries. I was only a week in before buying a vv battery.

Thank you The MVP will be a little out of budget with delivery and liquid factored in, but I'd go for it over the EVOD kit. Kinda like buggritt I lasted no more than two weeks with eGo batteries before buying the MVP and I haven't looked back. It is a lovely bit of kit for the money and if it turns out that vaping isn't for your friend, he will be able to sell it for a lot more than the EVOD kit will fetch.

I tried vv/vw...I had a vamo and an MVP - I bust 'em both.... VV/VW is good but it's not the holy grail.....For a newbie I'd say evod kit from myepack. Tell him he can upgrade to yours in a few weeks. This is just to get him started. I have a friend who says 'I'll go on the e-cigs if I can get one of your mods' - so I gave him a mod - he never used it. I gave him juice and everything. Get him on here and doing his homework. But yeah some people are quite happy on evod kits. I know one person who got me on here and she is still on cartos all these years later.... An evod kit is a perfect budget set up for a newbie and can always be used as back ups..

I will echo the recommendations for the mvp, yes it will work out slightly above budget but he will never NEED to change it....of course when shinyitus springs in he will lol. I've been vaping exclusively for 4 months now and since January the mvp is my everyday/go to device, i have several others to hand and cara, nemi, russian and kayfun clones en route but the mvp does everything I need from a mod and I will easily get 2 full days from a battery maybe even 3 so I never need to worry about running out of power! £40 will get the mvp delivered to your door then start him off on Joose juice liquid at £1.50 a pop, he will thank you in the coming weeks when he isn't looking for a better set up

It is a tricky one, the "do I stomp straight in with a vv device?"... trouble is, will said newbie take to vaping? If so, having more than one battery (of any type) is an absolute must, and evod kit does this without breaking the bank. If I knew when I first started what I know now there are some things I would do differently, but not a huge amount...

MVP v. 1 - over charged it Simple Ouch! The v2 seems to be pretty solid, but I have no intention of finding out just how solid it really is. I have dropped my new phone more times than the MVP and it would cost me over ten times as much to replace it, something tells me my priorities are a little screwed.
