Very good read and the reason I always try to avoid any medication as I have heard so many bad reactions not reported in general.

No mention of free holidays and other perks for Doctors who prescribe these drugs Going back to the early 90s I participated in quite a few Clinical trials in Leeds, A grand for a 4 day study (over 4 weeks) was quite tempting. After half a dozen trials I quit because the taxman wanted a word with me (even though I was assured all my Data was private ) I recall a study a few years ago where it went terribly wrong for the participants, That was probably a computer error. They send you a list of studies, You choose which one you are interested in (usually the highest paid in my case) No-one knows who's taking the real thing, Dosed at 9am, bloods are taken every ten minutes for the first few hours, then you Pee in a bottle that you put in a fridge Chill out most of the time, play pool, watch DVDs, PC games etc. Plus free meals. I wouldn't say scarey but a little boring. There's a lot of money involved, so corners will be cut to get the correct results.
