were is the best place to get a kayfun light clone in uk ive opened up my gettin older day cards and some paper stuff fell out,so idd best spend it before the wife finds out lol

Hi everyone again! Being the totally random person I am....I now have in my claws a kayfun 3.1 and kayfun lite courtesy of our classies

I am hoping for some more help please as at the moment we have a standoff, I am looking at them, and they are looking at me!

Totally unprepared was I, so this is what I have in my box, can I do anything with them or do I have to wait until I can go shopping?


2 micro coils around 1.8 ohms
A bag of premade coils on wick
2mm ekowool
1mm ekowool

Probably more hoping I can do something with the premades?

A 1.8 micro coil & some cotton wool will be the easiest for you ( must be able to find some cotton wool lying around somewhere)

Just look HERE Mrsmac you can't go wrong with a Super-Shiny guide, kayfun 3.1, lite or clones they all the same coil building wise

sorta gives you an idear of what to do with the wick and coil placement
just use sillica instead of cotton wool
just the normal coil at the beginning

If its not organic cotton wool expect a sore throat as most of the normal cotton wools are bleached white.

when you get to coiling your own ekowool is fine ,i used the 2mm for a while befor the navy nest way.

I have the cotton wool drying at the minute coil is in position! Would i be prime to flooding if I tried to thread the Ekowool and cut it to the same length as the cotton wool would have been?

yeh might be a pain to get the ekowool through the hole now and have the coil touching the wick all over, wait for the cotton i guess.

Managed to get a dry piece, getting nervous now. How does this look?

yup wires tight and coil away from the air hole ?

put the tube on and stuff the cotton down the sides into the grooves.
