Why?  I only ask because I was under the impression the fuse was a good thing for safety reasons. No?

i just see a lot of threads on the internet about removing it , dont even know why it has one , i like my mods to be nice and simple but i might get one if nothing else comes up

Do you have the 14500 or the 14650 version in matte btw ?

just asking as i wanted to know the length of the 14650 .

and yes the one with the AFC is ticking my boxes ,but fuses isnt

Just replace the Gus fuse with a GP telescopic post.. problem solved and a great little mod.

I've got the 14500 version.  You'll have to email them for length of the 14650 because it's not listed on their site.

The fuse is inserted in the base and the top cap has airflow which I needed for the Spheroid.  You can also get one without airflow for less than I paid.  Think it's €55 without the airflow cap, but there's no option for one without the fuse.  Will have a google search later to see why people are taking them out.  I've had no problems with mine and am planning on buying a second one soon.

I'm mistaken then if the fuse is in the base. I thought it was integrated into the positive post in the top cap but mayeb the design has changed or I imagined that completely. It's been a while since I owned a G16 and I'm sure there was no fuse in the base back then... Also I think the fuse only causes problem if you want to vape at higher watts .. otherwise it's a perfectly useful addition.. I'm not sure of the cut-off point
