Chefs Vapour Karl my nicotine arrived, super fast thankyou. Could I just check with you please, if I decant it into glass bottles, and then keep one in the cupboard for use and the others in the fridge, is this correct? Just quoting myself here as I have the bottles and I have boiled the kettle and rinsed every one 50 times using the kettle, so my hands have burns as I kept missing, but I need to know if this is the right thing to do?

You really don't need to rinse them out that many times Sammy . . . once would have been quite sufficient.

Ah I see . . . thought you were using brand new glass bottles. I'd probably ditch any that had contained liquids like that.

I soaked them, then rinsed them, then left them in boiling water overnight, then rinsed with boiling water from the kettle 50 times, that shout be ok - no?

Probably . . . although I'd have found it less time consuming to re-cycle and buy new bottles myself Sammy. ETA: I'm going to create a new thread on Mixology with these last few posts sammy13, as it doesn't seem fair to clutter up a Vendor's sales thread with bottle washing/sterilizing.

Ok Perpetua, my question to Karl originally was to ask if he agrees I should decant, and in which way as he supplied the nicotine I bought , the rest yes as you say move elsewhere.

Just give them a boil and should be fine. Glass isnt porus so no medication should be left in after even a rinse

I reuse old cough syrup bottles. All i do is rinse them a few times with hot water, then stick them in a pot and boil them for at least 15mins. To me they are now sterilised and ready to be re-used

It's pretty much standard and accepted to store in glass bottles if you're planning on long term storage sammy13, we've many a thread on the subject . . . at least you've been able to have the benefit of a few others thoughts and suggestions on the sterilizing aspect, which you may not have had otherwise.

I recently watched the effect Oromorph had on my wife during childbirth, so personally I wouldn't rinse at all
