Hello
I was wandering, i mix my liquid myself now. I buy pg based nicotine from a company called RTS vapes And mix it with flavors. The I buy is 36 mg which I mix half and half with flavoring so the strength I end up vaping Is, in theory 18 mg I think. Looking at the new EU legislation which limits liquids to 20mg I think I should be OK, or have I read it wrong, and would it be that once the nicotine is mixed half and half with pig base flavoring we would end up with something more like 10 mg overall. Please help

IF these regulations come in all youll be able to buy is premade liquids at up to 20mg in 10ml bottles. Someone may make an unflavoured for mkxers but it wouldnt be worth it imo. Best not tocpanic just yet. Wait untill we know more about how things are going to go then of needs be stock up on nic base
and you vape at 50% flavouring!? Thats high lol

Hi @alopezg1, If you fill a bottle half up with 36mg/ml e-liquid and then fill the rest of the bottle with flavouring then you are correct that this will end up with 18mg/ml e-liquid. Although 50% flavouring is VERY high. (Usually extra PG and or VG are also added to dilute to the required strength, with flavour accounting for typically 10-20% of the mix). Re. the new EU legislation, when it comes in, it is likely that you will no longer be able to buy 36mg/ml nicotine, as it is implied that this will be limited to 20mg/ml, and 10ml bottle size.

Yes but if the 20 mg liquid is premade already mixed I would not need to dilute it further? Which means I could vape 20 mg nic liquid as a maximum, basically the same as my current dosage, thereabouts ?

If buying premade flavoured e-liquid then you should still be able to vape at upto 20mg/ml. But it would cause problems if you wanted to mix your own.

Him I wonder if pg based nicotine can be frozen Yes, for long term storage people are storing their nicotine base in the freezer. (It actually doesn't freeze, just becomes more viscous). It is thought that this will significantly prolong its shelf life.

Its about being able to mix at the quantities and percentages we want mate, most shop bought juices are high pg, a problem for me and many others who have an intoleramce to pg. I mix my liquids at 70%vg using 72mg base

Ah I see . I am lucky in that respect and seem fairly tolerant of pg . I am living in new Zealand at the moment , soon to return to the UK though. Over here they cannot sell nicotine, soi have to import from america . Its slightly annoying but usually arrives in a couple of weeks. Maybe his would be an option for the future E
