a few of the problems with the kayfuns is the o rings and alot of the time its the small one in the cap where the chimney part goes in.
might be worth putting in a new one. and thats good news on your provari.

Ok here's where it gets weirder. I reassembled the kayfun (the coil had survived, Lord alone knows how) and IT WORKS! There was a little leakage to start with, which before I'd been wiping off with a damp cloth... for no reason this time used a dry towel, well to be honest, wiped it on my sweater (dirty pig!), blew into the airhole while buttoning the Provari... and no more leakage~~~! I can only imagine that the water from the cloth had been getting absorbed into the airhole and caused a little rivulet of juice and water to form.

I'm glad the Provari has forgiven you!

After over 4 years of vaping I always keep a packet of bog standard cartomisers to hand, as my 'just in case nothing else works' back up.

I don't use them often but, back in the day, they were a little miracle, and they still do the job now when called upon..

It's always interesting to go back to the earliest posts on here to get some perspective on how much things have improved...

Right after your rage against the provari would I manage not to destroy it in two weeks? Perpetua what do you reckon?

glad you managed to put your provari back together and it worked as the provari is the only mod that I have ever failed on trying to fix as I haven't ever managed to track down spare parts I know of 5 broken provaris all needing repairs but I will need to find spare parts before I will attempt to fix any of them I have fixed over 50 vamos 30 - 35 innokins but never a provari

i know of 5 broken provaris
3 needa new crcuit board
1 works but dosent light up anymore
1 the 510 threadi s stripped
so i dont think they are any stronger than any other
its just people dont carry them around as much

Things that don't break a Provari :

1) Throwing it at a radiator from 3 feet away.

It does have electronics in it, so either immersion in water or nuking it in a microwave may destroy it, not about to try though!
