14500 Mods

A big thanks to newdawn who linked a 14500 in one of the sales threads today/last night gus-mod.gr/zencart_gus/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=77 ,ive been looking and looking for a while now and apart from the obvious choice the GP piccolo v2/3, which people dont want to part with (untill next month) when the new v4 comes out . ive been pritty stumped on which to get to go with my spheroid (brushed) and this one ticked all the boxes and the main feature was the AFC air flow controller which was the main worry for me about choosing a 14500.the only thing i dont like about it is the fuse in the fire button,but hey its a safty feature and easy enough to buy some more if needed.

So payment sent for the matte version 14500 with AFC ,they also do a shiney.they also do the same mod in 14650 mode which are longer but the batteries you can buy have more life span.

The fuse on my Lord causes no discernable difference in performance & you should get a pack of spares with your mod plus spares are relatively easy to get hold of. Having said that, i swapped the fuse & the fuse housing in the topcap for a Nemesis positive pin which has the same threading & reduces the overall height of the Lord.

If your G16 has the BB switch you're in for a treat, it has zero lateral movement, a short throw & silky smooth action.

If you bought direct from Gus-mod rather than one of the re-sellers they're very good to deal with, i cocked up with my postage selection & they automatically refunded my Paypal the next day, a nice surprise for me.

Yeh i took a hit of 14 euro for postage but i suppose its like buying somethink from vapist but only further away

Postage on the Gus Lord is free, i didn't spot it but they sorted it anyway.

Stock up on 14500 batteries! I go through two batteries in a typical day. Three if I'm going at it a bit more. It's a lovely wee mod with silky smooth threading, locking and well...everything. Hope you like it sloppyvape
