I've never used my car charger for anything, but I assume it just draws from the battery.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if she'd left it running and then complains when someone nicks it.

It actually reminds me when, a few years ago, I was driving to work... lit up a fag, and tossed the lighter onto the passenger seat. A few minutes later I smelt burning, thought it was something in the air coming into the car.

A few more minutes, and flames were shooting out of the passenger seat... the lighter hadn't switched off and was boring into the seat. That was 'squeaky bum' time. It was also the best excuse I've ever used for being late for work... 'sorry but I've just set fire to my car'... they couldn't stop laughing!

i have a twin USB adapter plugged into the 12v socket in my car. the markings on the side of the adapter read "5V, 2.5A". Is this safe to use to charge a 650mah ego battery and to use a 900 mah ego passthrough? I've been using one or the other or both for about a month and haven't blown anything up yet

love this a batt charger should only supply a certain amount of power to the batt on the ego type batt if you use a 950mah charger with a batt that can only take 500mah then this will happen,allso heat can be a good contributing factor or kids in the back messing with it
im gona stick my fingers in a plug socket then sue the eleccy peps for it,i knew idd get a shock but they should make it impossible for me to do it so its there fault
