Oh EVIC. Oh Joyetech. I miss my EVIC, but my days of risking my hard earned on Joyetech have long gone. On ECF, people are quite keen on them. The fact that Joyetech offer a warranty that has no value in the real world is kind of disappointing. (6 months, but not the wiring...which is where most of the problems were, in addition to the threads...) I'm just bitter.

These are still not showing on Joyetech UK. They have 20% off for April and free shipping for UK orders, so worth keeping an eye on their site if you fancy one of these. www.joyetech.co.uk/

Anyone interested in one of these should watch this. Marco Vanbasten did a in depth appraisal (not a review as such) last night on Vaper Scene on VTTV
Go to 16 minutes for the section about the new Evic Supreme & software.

It looks very interesting with some good updates but it's a bit too expensive to replace the ones I already have and the new features are not tempting enough. However, it looks great for anyone who does not have something similar.

The origination didn't live up to my expectations and didn't last very long before developing an electrical fault. Once bitten, twice shy, especially at this price.

I am sitting here on a daily basis wishing I could bring my EVIC back to life (by buying another control head)... but I just can't do it.I am looking at a brand new one for £45 and even that is making me nervous. The only way I would buy one is on the understanding it might only last a few months again. £45 is cheap enough, but it's still more money to Joyetech and their "waste of paper" warranties. Just a dilema really.

My son brought me his broken Evic (top had come off after a drop) I couldn`t believe how thin the wires were that connected to the head. Easy fix though thankfully.

I had a play around with one of these in the Vape Lab. Very tempting!!! The steel tube gives it a much more solid feel. I always liked the idea of the display and software on the original, but this one feels and looks the part. I screwed in a kayfun 3.1 1ohm and set it to 16watts and it was like a steam train. I liked the click of the bezel too. The Vape Lab want £120, that includes a Sony IMR 4. Might have to wait till payday, I mean Monday.

I'll stick with the z-max used every day for 1.5yrs plus and still going strong, well it's still working, I do need a replacement though.

I must admit I rather fancy the Supreme, as this new design seems to have ironed out all the complaints about the last one. Why ? Because it is new and shiny, big oled screen with lots of info, and can be plugged into the PC to update its software. That sort of things appeals to me.
However, the price does not, but, people pay out lots more for a Provari, so it seems not that uncommon to spend that sort of money.
I have seen it advertised on e.cig.eu for 136 Euros, so I suppose the prices will settle down a bit once it starts to appear on many Vendors sites.
However, trying to bring myself down to Earth, as I have two box Mods now, I quite fancy a tubular one, and I am leaning towards the Sigelie 20W.
